    The projects were unsuccessful. The projects attempt 2 were unsuccessful. The projects codename, "try this quick hack, see if it runs better" were unsuccessful. You won't be convincing anyone to try again anytime soon.

    The higher the population density, the less desirable the living conditions. People aren't living "outside of walking or biking distance" because it is affordable. People are doing it because it is affordable and has certain amenities, ie space between neighbors, a yard, elbow room in the kitchen, a place to put your bicycle you don't ride, etc...

    Your Iphone is in the hands of Apple, not you. What other backdoors are in place to your phone? Could apple see your e-mails, corp data, personal files if the wanted? Pulling apps off your phone is one thing, Apple getting sued for copyright violation and providing information about your personal data is another.

    While offtopic; I was buying a tv a couple months ago, a best buy salesman openly insulted me, calling me an idiot, for not purchasing service by their geek squad to adjust my color and contrast for me. The service cost as much as the tv.

    He claimed it would extend the life of the tv, but had no idea from or to what. I guess he was right, I was an idiot to try and buy a tv that won't last without adjusting the contrast.

    I went to Sears and happily paid a few more bucks for the same model.

    I tried gaming on Ubuntu and decided to dual boot Windows. I bought XP, even though they had 20+ shiny new empty boxes for Vista. What is supposed to motivate me to use Vista? I haven't heard 1 thing.

    Look at the VG market. Few companies want to spend money on a creative idea. Those that do, simply aren't interested in your idea. If they can just change a few textures and now market their WW2 shooter as a Vietnam shooter, their gonna make more profit than buying and developing your idea.

    If held at gunpoint and about to die, my last thoughts would not be, "what of the network I administrate?!" You are completely overlooking two points. (1) He ran the network as the single point of control, and that was ok before he was fired, how is it a crime now that he is fired? (2) The network is running smoothly. Blah blah blah, all you want, but all evidence suggests the man was/is right.

    I used to get boot times of 1-2 seconds. It was really easy too. Just set your bios to error when no keyboard is present, and unplug the keyboard. This will drastically reduce your time to boot.
