Thats not to say that I didn't have to use the warranty; when I DROPPED the laptop and the 802.11b pcmcia card sticking out screwed up the pcmcia port, thats no-ones fault but mine. The rest of the laptop worked fine.
And yes- Toshiba support was great and FAST.
I've had it for 5 years and the only problem is the windows running on it.
Despite TRON holding a place in my heart- the movie was widely panned. However the video game raked in the quarters. (falshbacks to the beauty of the Discs of Tron environmental cabinet!)
Look at it this way: These movies are simply advertising vehicles for Nintendo's games. Good, bad, doesn't matter. Get the word out there and get the games bought. Thats the TRUE strategy.
I emailed their site several times to protest this, but they basically told me to shut up and never email them again.
Funny, same thing happened to me when I pointed out some flaws on Slashdot...

I'll second the Popov possibility since it was a bar.
Excluding bars, I've also had Ruble Vodka which I would use after accidents (cycling, rollerblading, being drunk). 1 shot taken orally, 1 shot taken topically on my cuts and scrapes, repeat.
1) anything that promotes interest in science (no matter how glamourized and unrealistic) is a boon.
2) Jury instruction should be enough of a factor. Also, your reliance on the veracity of eye witness testimony is amusing, considering how unreliable IT is.
I play the timed game version nearly every day on my Handspring Visor (usually while on the commode, but thats too much information so I'll stop right there). I've only had less than a handful of the aformentioned "Close calls"- and I've been playing nearly every day for 2 years. YMMV.
P.S.- this has been the only shareware I've ever purchased.
Because for everyone of you, there are 23 of me; a solid-state guitarist all the way.
That being said; I'm sure you can convince some rich audiophiles/venture capitalists to plunk down some money to finance a pyrex-like tube. You would be the king of a niche industry.
Its like wild chickens on the hawaiian island of Kaua'i. (or the Coqui frog on the Big Island). They have no natural predators so they spread like wildfire.
That being said, I'm sure datamining technology doesn't HURT their bottom line...
We learned a lot about Walmart and Data mining in my database 101 class. And the professor asks "Why do you think Walmart is so successful?"
And everyone says something about leveraging technology and JIT delivery, etc.
Professor Liu says "Nope. Location." Walmart chose most of their initial locations in cities/regions where there was no other competition. Places where there was no Kmart, no department stores, no malls. And they flourished.
Just wait 6 months. They'll release the $20 version. I can wait to get that one! (besides, despite getting to the end of GTA3, I've barely gotten ANYWHERE in GTA:VC...)
That's only useful if you don't know where you're going.
UHm, exactly. I used to live outside of DC. Now I live in a temporary apartment just over the DC line. I have no idea where I'm going, AND I'm in the thick of traffic. In short; I'm a beltway commuter's worst nightmare!
Another example: I get into downtown DC to pick up my wife by taking the GW parkway down into Virginia, cross over a bridge, and voila I'm in DC. One night they closed the whole friggin GW parkway! I had to call my wife to get alternate directions. Its times like these that you need extra help. If my wife didn't have web access (Thank you, mapblast!) I would have been screwed and lost; DC sucks to get lost in!
P.S.- my sister sent an email and did infact write "alittle." !!!! I immediately thought of you.
Well, aside from the OS (win 98se), its quality!

Wow, you RTFA'd. You must be new here.
The question being will they truly be able to produce something of Miyazaki's caliber?
In Japan old game companies make movies out of 8-bit videogames.
No, you got the cliche wrong. It goes like this:
In Korea only old people watch movies of 8-bit videogames!
And don't diss excitebike; Little dude got a nomination for being the toughest video game character!

to combine cliche memes:
In korea, only old people have stairs in their house and know the terrible secret of space.

I didn't say that people who ended up on jury duty were brain surgeons or rocket scientists.

I thought you were going to say "as a camp counselor I used knoppix to save a childs life when they where drowning; it makes a great rescue cd!"

What kind of music do you play out of curiosity?
The good kind.

If the "alleged" author actually admits to writing the e-mail, then cyber-libel becomes regular, boring, plain-ol' libel.
This article doesn't give us enough detail.
However if you are being "framed" it should be trivial for even the most junior of lawyers to cast enough resonable doubt on the e-mails authenticity.
Use anonymous re-mailer before slandering colleagues. Also, remove personal sig with my name, tele number, and address, too.

This guy does!
Oh, was that not the Gibson you were reffering to?
Space? They can't even put a laser on a frickin' shark!
That I'm gonna take up smoking again!
Don't get me wrong; I'm not addicted to nicotine. I've quit hundreds of times!

I just tell 'em I'm allergic to computers.
Mod me anyway you want, but the "s" in Skins is for "Suck."
Lets hope the new DC baseball team doesn't suck (yeah right).
