"Robby", it's more than just his hobby!/I love how they charged the girlfriend (even though she's not just innocent but also oblivious) just so she'll roll on her fiance.//For the record, I'd totally spill my guts, too.
It looks like you were typing in the passive voice (initial sentence fragment was probably "that is used"), made a passive verb active to get rid of the passive voice in your writing (a noble goal!) but forgot to remove the 'is.'
Can someone fix that?
otherwise, it sounds quite interesting, though I wonder how far Hadnagy goes into NLP and if the book provides any examples in the context of social engineering. Most of those techniques need to be executed in person, and exposing your face can be a risk.
I can't help but think this is an olive branch of sorts to the very nations embarrassed by wikileaks. "Here are your white collar criminals. Here is your money. Let's go easy on Julian, shall we?"
And as to your assertion that these aren't criminals: I don't know if this is flamebait (probably!) or heart-felt opinion but this is a clear-cut case of people getting around a law, be it "Right" (in the categorical imperative, universally just sense) or wrong. Get caught? Get punished.
LM totally bid for this contract; I wouldn't doubt that Northrop did, as well (or general dynamics, or...).
And this is one of those situations where I don't know if LM is laughing at the failure of a competitor, or breathing a sigh of relief because it would have been THEM in the papers with a failed contract on their hands...
It was an aggressive plan for integrating technology that just wasn't ready for it.

A poorly implemented compiler can "break" rendesvous. We had a training class in ADA and we used the GNAT compiler; it was not-so-real-time, and you basically had to code around it.
and Randall still can't get a clearance without being upfront about it. Basically it means he can tell a police officer he's never been arrested and doesn't need to disclose it on a non-clearance employment application or any "low grade" background check like rentin an apartment.
With that out of the way, Randal has helped me out on comp.lang.perl (right before it went moderated) so... Good on ya, Randall!
ANd the best feature of all, a timer. And not just an alarm clock (which it does have) but a "ring 10/30/60/ minutes from now" timer, and it's only 4 keystrokes TOTAL (my old nokia had me set the time and date and it took 12+ keystrokes).

As a Maryland Democrat, I don't think you understand. We aren't the party that is usually complaining about electronic voting; we are the party that is usually complaining. PERIOD.

Wait, let me get this straight. Local government has the police escort the company agents off the premesis because negotiations broke down. Basically, they figured "we already have the garage, so we don't need you any more. Bye, losers!"

nice 1, thanks for the correction.
A company well known for releasing new models of its products will release a new model of one of its newest products! Gasp!
A company notorious about being tightlipped on new stuff in development can't trust their Chinese partner company and gets scooped by the Grey Lady.
It's slashdot news-worthy.
They're trying to catch the next wave; a proliferation of mobile devices with constant and unique IP addresses.
Can we run linux on it?!

Given the flakiness of connecting Entourage to an Exchange server, where I could get all my e-mails but not send anything (?!) I just stopped trying.
Having half-working software is far worse than none at all.

ENTP. No question about it.
Said just today that she believes in telecomutting; she doesn't care where you work, just as long as you are putting in a 24 hour day, 7 days a week.
Oh wait, it was just gas.
She's left handed, alright.
Oh yeah I forgot, cellphone games FTW!
/ooops, my phone timer just went off. Gotta go pick up the wife.

Bringing new meaning to the (Red White and) Blue Screen of Death!
Oh wait, what? Bob Gates?
/Nevermind, then.
Now I'll actually have to buy their albums!

Gov't doesn't actually want to pay what it COSTS to make their Spec a reality.
So you underbid.
You deliver something close-ish.
Then the gov't gives you a follow on contract to pay you to make it work like they initially wanted it to but didn't want to pay for.
Any questions?

And then complains because it breaks?
