Meditation is the key to self-control and well being. Since I started doing it everyday, my life has improved 100%. It helps you to react a lot better to the frequent changes of life.
I think everyone should practice it. They should teach it in schools.
... the fact that the obese are often geographically concentrated in areas (like the American South) where public education is shit and poverty is high.

How the hell are they going to guarantee the keeping of the data?
What if I delete the data from my storage? Of course they could make redundant pieces on other nodes, but that doesn't solve the problem.
Car travel is not mundane if you show it to someone from the 700 B.C.
But I agree with you that the idea seems absurd, planes are an incredible achievement. But what really blows my mind are spacecrafts. It's so absurd to think we have a spacecraft orbiting a planet that lies aproximatelly 1.316.462.400 kilometers from us.
So I guess if this really becomes a serious outbreak, those living in big cities should be the most affected.
I'm a 25 year old healthy male and I live near an airport in the city of Sao Paulo (which is in Brazil, pretty close to Mexico). With a population of 11 million people. Should I worry?
Back in 1996 I downloaded the slackware packages from sunsite.unc.edu ftp, which took forever with my dial-up connection. Then tried to configure and compile the kernel for at least 3 times, before actually succeeding. It was a pain in the ass to configure my sound card.
I must say I prefered the Lucasarts concept of never having to restart the adventure, but Sierra's adventures where great too and I also almost break my keyboard multiple times when those things hapenned.
I think the idea is great, but I tried to play LSL in linux firefox, but it was full of bugs, like lot of larries printed on the screen at the same time. Then I tried it in a virtual box with IE6, and the same thing hapenned.
Anyway, I really liked the site and I hope they fix the bugs and put more games on.

I hope in the future you don't get murdered after your country is arbitrariously invaded.
When this girl I was seeing in Wow left me, I became sick and was hospitalized for 3 weeks... I was hoping we would marry in real life.
I still think of her sometimes...
Oh, life sucks.
And why would I trust other countries like the US ?
They will merge into a slighter bigger MBH.
When someone add light years to ping.
As long as it happens after the world cup.
They should create a 3 strike law for dumb politician laws.
Dude, Bob Marley had 13 children...
Douglas Quaid knew it already.

Find another job. Slavery and staying in shape doesn't go together, unless you're in some manual labor kind of slavering.
Where?

Greatest news of the week. I love Monkey Island series.
Reformatting the pc may not always be the solution.
There are tracking software that can be installed on the BIOS firmware.

Researchers did an experiment simulating the temperature and pressure conditions on Mars, and found that liquid water is possible because of the perchlorates Phoenix found on the soil.

We are getting closer to the panopticon concept.
