They aren't relaying... Relaying is already turned off. They aren't sending it through my server in the sense that it's going to another server. They are sending it through my server in the sense that they are attacking my users.
They are spoofing headers and sending (hundreds of) messages to valid e-mail addresses.
I have looked through sendmails site.
I've read it and re-read and I can't seem to figure out how to do what I want to do.
I also am a bit confused by some of the file names and locations in SuSE 7.
It seems that instead of sendmail.cf and sendmail.mc, SuSE uses linux.cf and linux.mc but I don't know how to check before.
I'm not exactly a newbie but I'm not a linux immortal either.
I just made the move from using Exchange to sendmail and it has helped a ton. Most of the setup hasn't been a problem but I am stuck on blocking spam other than using the access.db file.
I will check out the bat book but what I really need is someone with some experience who is willing to give me a hand. I wouldn't mind hiring someone to teach me either.
My office is predominantly white but we have Blacks, Asians, and people from other parts of the world. No racism that I ever observe.
In fact, working in the tech industry has really added culture to my life. I love talking to one of my Asian friends about all the differences between US and Japan. It's very interesting to me.
I wish some Lawyers on here would help all of us spamees escape the evil of Benchmark supply. I hate that company. They break every rule to legitimate e-mail advertising possible and they don't stop for anything.
All I want is 5 minutes in the ring with the owner.
I ditched exchange for sendmail.
Exchange is a memory hog and it has tons of security flaws. And one thing that pissed me off is that there is no way to uninstall it.
I think it's okay that he copied it. Not necessarily good but I don't think he's doing anything wrong. If he was selling the design to people he'd be getting into trouble but just using it for himself doesn't seem so bad.
I used to take sites and improve on them and come up with my own graphics to the point that you could see similarities but they weren't the same, then I'd stick a database behind it and script up a whole site off of a template. I don't do it much anymore, but I never had any moral problems with doing it. I'd ask if I thought it might be a problem and no one ever said I couldn't or shouldn't.
If he put life on half the planets out there it would be a whole lot easier for evolutionists to say, "There is life all over. All these other races evolved just as we did."
Since speciation is nothing more than a cool science fiction theory we will never find life off of earth.

I've heard of companies shooting themselves in the foot, but lately Intel seems to using full automatic weapons and unloading on themselves.
I know they are big and strong but with enough crap like this won't they eventually fall? In my opinion, wouldn't it be better for them to take their spot in 2nd place and work on producing quality products to bring themselves back up?
Actually, I don't care if they shoot themselves much... I'm an AMD stockholder.
My brother doesn't have ADD, but is very very irritated if you mess with him or confront him while he's playing his games.
I used to consider myself a hard core gamer playing 2-5 hours a night 6/7 nights a week back in my day, but I also was outside and hanging out with friends the rest of the time.
My brother is only 17 and sits in a chair 24x7 playing Ultima Online. Other people pay for his accounts and pay him for "items" and other things in the game.
He only takes breaks to eat and pee, and occassionally he'll take a break to play starcraft. It was nearly a vacation for him when he beat Diablo II in two days.
In all seriousness he does have a part time job at Pizza Hut and is taking GED classes.
I'm forcing him to go on a weekend vacation with me just to get him out from in front of the computer.
What do you do for someone like this? He dropped out of high school and is working on getting his GED. He does have some computer skills. I was trying to get him interested in web design but he can't find any place to hire him so it's not of much interest to him.
The incentive will be more powerful applications and doing what we do now faster. It might not happen overnight but it will happen...
Think of it kind of like the way AMD came out with 3DNow. They were extra instructions that could be used to speed things up. It took a while but now most games support those extensions.
The only reason I would want a console all on my kitchen appliances is to have access to a linux prompt and make sure my other machines were still running without walking into another room.
I go through spurts of having this problem. I'll go to work and look at the code for 5 minutes and then start hitting my websites... Userfriendly, slashdot, tomshardware, arstechnica, anandtech, theregister.co.uk.
Then I'll go look at the code for a while longer and go log into all my online banking and credit card accounts just to make sure things are good.
Then I go and look for code a while longer and then go log into my Ford Mustang sites to see what's going on.
Eventually I get back to the code and force myself to just start typing, even if it has almost nothing to do with the program, then I can straighten it out later.
I think if I had linux installed at my desk it wouldn't be so bad.

You've got to be kidding me. I've tried both ask.com and google to find ways to shut this down and I can't find anything relevant.
I've tried searching for "sendmail spam filters" and "X-Authentication-Warning".
Maybe I'm searching for the wrong phrases?

I'm having trouble figuring out sendmail's spam filters. Are there any resources I can read that will explain how to stop spam with sendmail?
Hundreds of messages with the X-Authentication-Warning flag are passing through my server every day.
Are there any linux gurus out there willing to help me figure out the sendmail spam filters?
If so, e-mail me: mkaatman@mail.win.org
Thanks!
Matt
That is pretty funny stuff. I took it seriously until I visited the link.
Good one!

I am so glad to read this! Somehow I missed it the first time.
Man I hated that guy. I called that company so many times and every time I got a little more pissed off.

It won't even TRY to display anything.
The only thing non-standard that I'm doing is using the autoconfig file.
I can't figure out what it's doing except when I look at the javascript debugger there is a nasty error.
Can anyone load www.bridge.com?
Why did I click on that link? WHY? WHY!?!?!
If you own a car that truly does 200 MPH, speed limits really don't apply to you.

Does Japan get excited over US cartoons the way some of us get excited over theirs?

What purpose does it serve to use up every word in your vocabulary in the first post?
They sit 40 hours a week in front of a terminal surfing slashdot and getting paid but everyone is okay with this!

UT forever!

Although the above message probably makes me sound like the world's laziest employee, this is not true, I also have code spurts where I'm unstopable.
Taking a lot of breaks seems to clear my mind of the huge project at hand and let's me break it down into sections I can deal with.
I go through spurts of having this problem.
