    If the security hole introduced intentionally with malice, or nothing is done about a known security bug, then getting sued maybe on the cards...
    It depends on the impact the security hole...eg privacy or information breach.

    If the security hole was introduced without malice or fixed in time, or does not have major impact (ie affects only test data, or performance...), then you're unlikely to have a case for litigation.

    You get less if there are regulatory or filter restrictions in place. Doesn't reduce the number of people/organizations sending out or calling.

    He showed us all about what the wild was about..very intense and exciting and that was reflected in his personality.
    A man who was passionate about his work, his fellow people, and the environment.
    Though this was an unfortunate event, it just shows that we must respect not just the wildest of animals that can kill, but those that we share our environment with, including ourselves.

    So Steve...'respect' - thanks for all the work you and your family have achieved. The legacy will live on.
    A true blue Aussie.

    Notice how the article mentions everything but the battery life...

    With all that high spec dual core processor, gfx card, big 30% brighter lcd screen, simulateous virus scanning, burning cds and all the wizbang gizmos...I think it's more of a 'desktop replacement' than a 'notebook'.

    If you are doing word processing good, if you're playing, have a power socket nearby.

    Given the T2600 runs at 2.16ghz

    Compare this to

    AMD 4800+ 2.4ghz

    it really does seem the 'Mhz = performance' is well and truely over...and for the first time Intel seems to be saying to AMD "We too can play your Mhz mean 'nuffin game'"

    Again...the test results maybe affected by the chipsets used for the different processor architectures, which in turn affected the the types of memory used (DDR2/DDR) etc etc...

    As I ex-bartender/waiter (blah blah long time ago)...
    It's all to do with the bubbles/throth/thewhitelayerthingymagig. How you pour the beer in determines how the liquid flows into the glass. The smoother the flow and less disturbance of the pour, the less bubbles (CO2) you are going to get formed. You can see this when you pour cola into a glass as well! IMHO is that short, wide glasses (if you pour it right),tend to make for this smooth flow of liquid, hence less bubbles. One is more more likely to distuble the pour of the liquid in a Tall, narrow glasses of the same volume - hence leading to more bubbles and less grog.

    -Take vehicle for preventative repairs/maintenance (done...sort of)
    -Fill up vehicle *tick*
    -Check tires (give it a kick)
    -Blast off *tick*
    -arrive at camp site
    -Unload food and supplies *tick*
    -Check vehicle still okay (done...issues found)
          * had to go underbonnet to remove some stuff
          * inspected paint job near windscreen?
    -Clean up room
    -Bag trash-rubbish, put back into vehicle *tick*
    -Depart camp site *tick*
    -Arrive home

    (and that's the weekend!)

    Here in Syd, Australia, residents are required to sort the trash.
    General rubbish (red bin)
    recyclable material (yellow bin)
    Garden and plant material (green bin)

    Just interested to know if the ISS trash was sorted?

    For those of us with Dynamic IP addresses: there always been those times where you get that one bad bad 'black-listed' IP (previously used for spamming, haxing etc).

    Worse still, 'black-list' blocks not JUST only the IP, but entire subnets or IP ranges...you spend a whole friggen day debugging your network-router-firewall setup and spend the rest of the week arguing with your ISP about who's fault it is.

    Solutions:
    ifconfig /renew? - sometimes does not work due to DHCP server keeps on serving you the same IP based on your MAC ADDR, and you are forced to wait for expiry lease to lapse.
    change MAC address? - an option, as 'most' routers can 'spoof' MAC addresses.

    Here are just some things I can think of:

    * Getting those special hole punchers and converting those 5 1/4" 360KB floppys to instant 720KB- Instant double density!

    * Buying a special pack of 10 x 3 1/2 1.44 SONY (We're talking branded!!) for $15. - bargain!

    * Those cool programs that you could execute and make your floppy [drive] play a tune by it issuing commands to the seek mechanism of the drive. (eg. Happy Birthday, Silent Night, etc etc)

    * ..."Insert disk 2 of disk 30, press any key to continue"

    * OPERATING SYSTEM NOT FOUND...Insert Disk to Continue ...Ahhh the memories.
