"The method has already renewed speculation about the importance of water to city development. Surprisingly, this study found that a handful of sites are unexpectedly large given that they are not located near rivers or in areas of high precipitation. “The settlement known as Tell Brak, for example, is far too large for what one would expect at such a marginal position,” says Ur. “This is where things get interesting.”
I know no one does actually RTFA but here you go so you understand what was actually meant.
I always thought the target range was where you trained. I do not see how taking a picture of my target is more helpful than knowing how the gun feels when it actually goes off recoils etc...
It's not about losing everything. Being able to die is not required to be qualified as a game in my book. But some form of failure is.
In WoW, you can never fail at anything. You can always try again, without being set back at all. In EVE at least people can steal your stuff when your ship is destroyed. This makes you want to prevent being destroyed. In WoW nobody cares if their character dies, because it has no consequence.
there are consequences just minor but it does set you back,
also your line about not failing in wow because you can "try again" if you have to try again.. you failed the first time you tried.
99% of your options are hideously ugly, the remaining 1% is spread so thin that the chances of actually being able to make a character both look vaguely like you want it to and not be ugly is pretty-much nil
99% ugly and 1% decent looking, yep! sounds like the real world.
Public transit? it would be nice if we had some out here in rural America, granted I walk to work but there is no public transit option here. so until that becomes available, Yeah right, I will continue to drive
as someone that plays both sports and computer games I would say that both of them take you out of your current reality in some way. I can think of many times where my day was crappy but a track meet or a football game the concentration and effort required the act and react of the game or race made me forget about my day. Never once in the middle of a race do I remember thinking God that ass at the coffee shop this morning short changed me and didn't even get my order right.
so I would say chess, poker, basketball football or anything the like does take you "beyond your current reality!"
if your phone has bluetooth then use that to take the pictures off the phone. I can link my phone to my laptop and move my pictures just fine so no money involved taking pictures off my phone
the issue is not just how bad the code looked it was the crap that was in the code.
for something that like what the article is talking about it needs to be accurate. as my programing professor used to say.
"crap in crap out"
god help me if non technical people are actually doing the beta testing. if they don't have the storage to offload 120GB ($50 at radio shack gets you a nice external drive.)
another thought. If I was doing beta I sure wouldn't be doing it on my laptop that I use for everything I would do it on my desktop that I don't mind playing with stuff on but it's not a huge deal to lose info
he did not say that it was a cure all he said that it helps because the body is indeed very good at healing itself. yes a decent diet, moderate exercise, and a positive attitude will not cure everything but for a minor illness or pains there is a good chuck of times that with rest water a good diet and rehab in right way you will heal up just fine.
sparking unconfirmed speculation that the probe is tied to the leaking of Wolverine."... also who gave reports that it was linked to video piracy? some nut in a news room looking for a story?
until I know more I for one will hold my judgement
Also bear in mind that many programs aren't exactly instalable on a portable computer...
depends on your idea of portable... my laptop is a desktop replacement and is completely portable even though it's heavier than a normal laptop
why bomb Nebraska, what did the cornfields and cows do to you?

you can download the game client for free what you pay for is the account not the software
somehow I do not see this ever stopping me from hunting and eating venison, duck, goose ect..
its not that hard to clean manually without the aid or supervising of robots.
