You know it isn't nearly as simple as that. Especially since many governments are enacting this, there seems to be no safe-haven from restrictions on freedom, unless we want to move to a law-less place like Sudan.
We want a place with a stable government that cares about its population, is truly democratic, and cares about freedom, and not the money it gets from lobby groups. And most of all, has fast internet.;)
New generation kid here - wat.
Very painfully aware of what Auschwitz-Birkenau, Dachau, Treblinka, all are.
If you were to ask me about battles in the Boer War (do you even know what that is?) I'd be less knowledgeable, however.
Aluminium-air batteries are on their way, which offer the same energy density as oil-based fuels. And, as electric energy systems, which are usually twice as efficient as internal combustion, this means double the output in the same space.
If I had a badass scar across my face, I'd be extremely pissed off if it was photoshopped off my ID card.
However, the way they do it at my school is by taking a still with a video camera (bizzare, huh?),only one, and either making increasing the brightness so much you can't see anything, or making it so dark it looks like your face is covered in a light fur.
I'm keen for the day when I can go down into the streets and fight against the fuckin' RIAA and their equivalents. Shit, I'm keen for the day when there'll be half governmen
I call bullshit on the Healthcare analogy. The US is one of the only countries in the world without "socialized" healthcare, yet privatized healthcare still exists alive and well in those countries too, or at least mine, New Zealand.
"...curfews and ID checks. And like those things, it could save their lives."
Fuck off. They're just undeniably control systems, on par with trying to govern morals.

Yeah, and I've heard that condoms don't really stop AIDS, but that doesn't make it true.
And first to say, the government hatred on freedom of any type has gone too far, and this is a perfect example.
Immigrate.

I may have Alzheimer's, but at least I don't have Alzheimer's.

The Herald is a joke mouthpiece of rich folk, I tells yah.
1865 called. It wants the end of the American Civil War back.

The issue is that your job doesn't suck.
You could call the Air a netbook. If it didn't cost 20x the netbooks.

I would turn off the function myself, being a paranoid nut, but I don't like the government saying I shouldn't have it. There you go.
Three words. One incorrectly spelt, two with incorrect grammar. You have a 100% fail rate.
Airstrip One is going down, if East Asia has anything to say about it bitch.
That whole "Airstrip One" renaming thing is getting to me, personally.
You misunderstand, that's what makes it funny.
Parentheses however, leave me confused and feeling alone. )
