there are 2 problems with holding the DTV transision until june
1. the goverment will never figure out that procrastinating like the people who were too lazy to get a converter box will only cost more money
2. there are 2 types of procrastinators the first hasn't watched TV in years and has not been exposed to enough of the media to know that anolog sets will shut off, but they won't care. the second are lazy fat asses who when they do switch the signal they will run into the street crying because their TV won't work and the DTV thing will be all over the paper so they will run to the nearest place to get one and a guy from geek squad to put it in.
and for the poeple who did not get a box before this shortage. sucks to be you. you should have goten one earlier
If they need to try to Idiot-proof a system take out the "Idiot". If these companies hire more technology inclined workers (people who read/.) they they won't have this problem as often.
i see one problem with this 1 lightyear = 9.4605284 Ã-- 1015 meters and the technology used to tell scientists have if this was "teloported" have to take a measure of a unit of time that is so small my calculator (the one that comes with windows) and my TI-84-SE can't calculate how small it is. how can we say it has "teloported" if we can't measure the time it takes to get from point A to point B if the smallest measure of time we have is greater then the time it takes get from point A to point B
remember ppl a few hundred-thousand years ago where u probably are (if you are somewhere where its snowed last year) would be under a mile of ice. yes the temprature is going up but its just going back to normal. (ice age remember) however the CO2 in the oceans may be a problem so just stop.
ok as you can see by this graph zombies eat you so here are a few things to make sure the guy next to u gets eaten and not you. 1. use your improvised weapons of destruction to destroy the "brain" of all approaching zombies. 2. DO NOT SPLIT UP because one of you will get eaten and or turned into a zombie and then u will be like "bro y u eatin my brainz dude" 3. under any circumstances do not use fire because the only thing worse that undead hordes trying to eat your brain is undead hordes trying to eat your brain while on fire.
(insert scarcasim into title) but really if you have ever read the darwin awards you can easily see the problems of letting EXTREMELY old people drive. not to mention that people are getting mcuh older now and we start forgeting things at like 75
but remember of the 20 orders for a $200,000 flying car you have to filthy stinkin rich to get one and therefore they can pay for lessons. second there are only a few of these things on the market and fewer in the sky now what are the chances of them hitting anything exept a tree or building
not to mention the problem that happened last time the biodesel got really big on the news. food prices went up (alot, and their still there) because we were using corn, one of the most produced crops in america and turning it into ethanol. what could the effects of this be?
the same thing applies to the people from the 2006 lawsuit. "YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO USE FORCE WHEN PLAYING THE WII" now i can understand if the strap breaks (they fixed that) but they have that annoying white instruction screen during most of the load times that tells you how to hold the wii remote if you are going to be using it with a bit more force than normal.
I haven't known anyone who chews their pencils because I would much rather break them in half and shave all the yellow paint off with a pair of scissors
i hope the pre-eaten paste is not as expencive as that coffee
1) Space elevators do not lower the energy required - they just use the energy differently.
In the long run making a space elevator would be a very efficient idea for a few reasons.
1). With the design for a lift car from Xprize and the lift port group all you need is a solar panel in space to power a laser onto solar panel on the lift cart. 2). With all the people doing crazy things to make energy today it a worth while experiment if you attached a copper wire to a weight and left it out there (provided it doesn't fry itself) it will produce electricity as it moves through the earths magnetic field. (I saw an idea like this from some show on satellites) 3). Without the cost of rocket fuel you can chalk off another thing for environmentalists to yell at NASA for. 4). If rockets are still in use after the space elevator is build you can launch rockets from there and not have to deal with the extra gravity closet to earth. this will reduce the weight of fuel and make it able to hold more. (for like say a manned trip to mars)
overall building a space elevator would be very if people would just get up off their lazy butts and get working.
i guess if Nintendo goes back to the origional idea fo sitting in front of a screen with a joystick and a few buttons then people will look at it like the wii was just and expiriment and was too diffrent for them to do something with.
after looking at the picture for a while i think someone got creative with the photoshop. the shadows are a bit wierd and it seemes out of place. im no expert but thats from an untrained idiot
stop yelling at them... I still mess up the whole 2008/2009 thing. Its only febuary
and that involves a piece of string and a door knob. you didn't need to give the kid drugs

overall it performs within a few percentage points of Windows XP
overall... not worth it.

it's never going to be as "cool" as Apple
theres your problem for ya.
that will never get done. even with a huge budget

people who are very frugal could order less in order to save their self the extra few bucks. in this case the resturant loses money.
till college. Thats how we played scrabble there.

why do you need a ton of beer on top of a mountian? you could have everyone drink a keg then get in it and rool down the mountian
