i am acutaly very supprised because the same companies that have the stay-at-home games also have released a handheld gaming system and they usaly do well with the younger age groups (its hard to make a violent game on a 2 inch screen) but now that games have come out for the iPhone they seem to be taking off. (i jailbroke my iTouch mounths ago so i had games when others did not so i feel sort of wierd)
and you'd think that with all the crap about DRM that came out a few weeks ago they would reduce the copy protection because the people who know how to use it well won't buy it because they cant watch some pirated video in itunes
hey wait before you start fussing about diving this kid an award didn't the mythbusters do 2 thing like this when they filled a toilet with all kinds of flamable crap and they got it to blow up after they had to light the match and drop it in the toilet. the second one was when they blew up a porta john by fillinf it with methane and it took them a while to get it to go boom. im just saying this doesn't sound right
why do these things always happen like come on its a car. do you see these guys confiscating all pictures of their cars that you take on the high way. i think not.
i really don't think they care that much about the 585 million dollars. they are huge companies that make the small screen that are put into almost everything. i think the bad rap from getting owned by some anti-trust law will just give them a public relations shock. thats why they will drop prices
i think if the military is looking for a game to use it would be halo. its exachly what the military wants exept that the n00b totaly PWNing them is a in-active sloth. they also might be able to use COD4. i think these games would better suit the military than WOW.
with the rate at which computers are getting faster it won't be long until we can use things like this to play games. just imagine useing this to play halo with a plastic gun and running around in a human sized hamster ball. the utimate virtual reality
.Seriously, can anyone explain a possible application for this research
scitntists could use their new reaserch to move faster in the line at the patent office. just look at the wright brothers. even though langly's plane was a piece of crap they were both almost done at the same time.
sure lets say i want to get married to some disney princess. how many other people try to do the same thing for the same drawing. If you drew the cartoon character thats another story.
its not what they are selling its the numbers. they send 10 billion (10,000,000,000) e-mails a day. say you have a 1/1000 of the people reply and half of them acutaly buy what ever it is they are selling that still leaves half a million sale and you sell your crap for about 5 dollars thats...um... (insert dr.evil voice here)250 million dollars.
i think the whole thing with privacy online is that every time you fill out an application for a new massage board or anything they ask you for your name, email, state (assuming you live in the united states) and sometimes your phone number (i just punch in a number that is not mine)
It is usualy hard to think of a false identity to take your place and even then you need to put in your email for the activation codes so it is very difficult to keep your real identity private online even if you do your banking online
you still have all those IP trackers that can find out everything about you even if you use a screen name.
how do they refill it?

Now how do they get the goat in there in the first place. LOL
I think whan you talk about escapism you give gaming a bad name but you cant really escape when the server you are playing on has other people on it.
im in the same boat as you. I play MMO's,RTS's,FPS's, everything and im pretty fit. what i think people are not getting is that when we are not on our servers PWNing everyone we have social lives. im still in high school and in school after a night of gaming i go to school and talk about the games so in a wierd scense gaming helps people stay involved by helping them find friends with common hobbies.
i am also pretty sure (please correct me if im wrong) that very few people are as insain as the warlock from the The Bourne Ultimatum.
yes good luck in therapy kid (evil laugh)

I know how manufacturers are using more of those wierd code names for their products. What does CARDBOARD stand for?
Does it come with power steering?
It's almost unbelievable how convinced these people are that it's not a scam.
um yah if it sounds too good to be true. it is. hintity hint hint

O the hills are alive with the sound of failing hard drives...

so basicly what this is saying is that you can't see me if i hold up a sheet that is the same color as the wall
