iPhone users are 8 times more likely to engage phishing websites than Blackberry users. iPhone users account for 26% of the mobile market, Blackberry is 36%..
I imagine this is because most Blackberrys are corporate phones and the phishing emails will never reach their corporate mailboxes in the first place.
iPhone users on the other hand will be more likely to use hotmail/yahoo mail etc, which aren't as good at removing such mails, making the percentage of emails delivered to the device higher, hence the number of phishing website click-throughs higher.
> So, was the Skype outage the other day part of this internal update?
If you read the story that's two below this one, you'll have realised that this wasn't the case.
Shame the editors of Slashdot can't be bothered to read their own site these days - whilst the video calling is news, the submission could have been edited.

From the article:
"We’re not sure how we feel about removing the optical drive from the Pro machine, but that’s a debate for another time."
I welcome it.
I've never used the drive in my MacBook Pro.
I used the drive in my old MacBook Pro once, and that was to upgrade to Snow Leopard. Shipping Lion on a USB stick would be awesome.
A few people would whinge if they dropped the DVD drive but I guess if they had 2 models, one with and one without, they'd end up killing the one with the DVD drive as it'd be fatter.
Before people wittier on about Blu Ray - I can't see Jobs doing it. the DRM is such a headache what with key revocation etc.
The amusing thing is that most banks have their web based interfaces screen scraping their old green screen systems because they're petrified of upgrading anything!

I wonder how long it will take Oracle to pretty much give the middle finger to HP and Dell hardware partnerships in favor of the soon-to-be-released OracleFire "product-in-the-box" line...
Use http://www.plexapp.com on your Mac and then stream to either Plex.app / the new Klexi.app to stream.
Copy or stream & films/videos etc to watch them on/offlne on you ipad/ipod/itouch etc.
Awesome iOS client.
WOrks well, lots of community support and plenty of features in the works (built into a g brand TV later in the year, for one).
You can also run a Plex client on a Jailbroken AppleTV2, which is AWESOME.
Oh, they're also launching Windows support soon I hear.

Just my thoughts, based on no data.
As soon as they implement this, assuming YouTube buys in (or is granted free access as a "special" customer)
I really can't see BT giving away Petabytes of disk to Youtube, especially when it'd have to be in each exchange.
Having said that, I guess they'd just cache the most frequently accessed content (they'd have no choice, given storage constraints).

Though I guess it'll take a while to get into builds/updates for existing handsets.

It will stand up in court. This is the same defence Blizzard used when they sued the WoW Glider author.
Why the dig at Oracle? Are they the new target for the slashdot crowd?
Indeed, very sad. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitter_Sweet_Symphony#Song_credits They had permission to use the sample, but the song got popular and the Stones got greedy (like they need the money).

It already exists... In partnership with HP :)
Oracle Exadata
I imagine that'll soon go the way of the dodo, and get replaced with some Sun kit.
Thinking In Java by Bruce Eckel is available for free from his website. I recommend it as a starting point.
There's a really good Mac Solution - Undercover. Check their Recovery Case Studies.

Guh? You can make Outlook sort by thread.
Right-click on "Subject" in the title bar and choose "customise current view". Click "sort" and choose "conversation" in the "sort items by" box.
