    Other country's rear earth providers all went bankrupt and shut down because China was dumping. Now that they are all gone, China cuts back on supply (for environmental reasons.. right) to drive prices up.

    I think the term is call 'cornering the market.' Except this time its not orange juice, and they pulled it off.

    Its most certainly using Brokaw's reputation to sell. If reputation didn't matter they could use a clip of any Joe Smo. Also attacking a competing product is selling your product. If Coke put out and anti Pepsi add, and never said coke, and ripped of someone else's material, they would be sued, just like the Super PAC will get sued.

    Because packing up and shipping radioactive material is far cheaper then having it sit in a pool of water next to where it was extracted right? Companies always do the correct and far more expensive thing.

      I dont know about japan, but in the US regulators make them keep the fuel because congress cant get their shit together to open up the storage facility.

    From what I remember of EE210, a moving curent creates both an electric field and a magnetic field (right hand rule). I forget if there is no moving charge and a magnetic field, if a electric field would exist.

    I have found that when it comes to the educated (people with a degree) teachers are the absolute worse at using and understanding technology. Its like they have that part of their brain removed when they when to school.

    Someone moved the icon for word on the desktop, and I got a call saying it was "uninstalled" and they couldn't do any of their work.

    Your right, Google gets the whole cable division. What used to be GI. Set top boxed, MPEG Encoders, Sat receivers, conditional access systems, all the outside plant equipment. Absolutely everything one would need to deploy a cable system. A shitty cable system, but a cable system non the less.

    Google is deploying fiber to the home. I'm sure there will be a video offering, what else are they going to do with that bandwidth? So, why does google care what Comcast or Direct TV thinks? If they make a better box they can use it for themselves. If they find a better way to generate revenue with it, then maybe the other operators my take a look at it.
