It's not pedophiles that kids need to be protected, it's child molesters. While there is some sizable overlap, not all pedophiles are bad people who want to kidnap your daughter, tie her up, rape her, and videotape the whole god-forsaken ordeal.
Get over it, some pedophiles can control their urges.
You can still submit things in Doc using OO.o. Or do you never bother to check these things? And, frankly, I would rather have someone who knows how to think, "What would this be called on this system?" than "Here's what it's called on this old system. OH SHIT! I CAN'T FIND IT ON THE NEW ONE! HELP!!"
After my girlfriend's computer died, she inherited Kenny (my first home-built machine, circa 2005). Installed Sabayon on there, then after a few kernel upgrades and such, it started having issues. Installed Ubuntu, works beautifully, other than, you know, Dolphin freezing.
She loves it, partly because it's new, and interesting, but also because it's free. You should have seen the look on her face when I told her how much a retail copy of Windows costs.
No, it just has thousands of apps available online (it *can* run older Palm apps, right?), and it's trivial to make an appstore with that. Hell, there's one on my Centro; granted, it's not by Palm, but it's there.
Poe is good. Also, her brother wrote one of my favorite books - House of Leaves.
Anyway...
I appreciate the Beatles, especially, the later stuff - not necessarily because it's good (which, hey, it is) but because of the influence it had on the musical sound.
I don't justify downloading movies/music/software with "It's just a bit of code".
Rather, I know, for a fact, that most of these albums would *never* be bought by me. The few I would buy, I download first, then, once I actually have the money (once in a blue moon, unfortunately) I'll go out and buy one or two, where they just sit on my shelf, unopened, and I just continue to use the downloaded copies.
In fact, most of the time, I only buy albums *because* I pirated them first.
Basically, they lose no sales when I pirate. If anything, I've bought several *more* albums because of it.
So, what you want is something that works like a Wacom table?
You move the stylus (within 2-3 inches of the surface) and the cursor moves. You push the pen to the surface, and it clicks. Is that what you're thinking?
Nope, actually, I'm known as mewshi on IRC because of a weird thing we were doing in a channel one day, where we were adding -shi to words. I said "mew" because it was a channel for, of all things, catgirls, so it came out "mewshi". the "nya" bit is just because I think I registered an account as "mewshi" once... so I couldn't re-register.
I had an old account, but got tired of always having "excellent" karma ^-^'
If it's within around 2 inches, it arcs - the whole coax system in my room does this :\ There's scorch marks on my floor.
Sure, 20000000000000000:1 odds for myself, in economics, in the next 40 years.
Hey, question about coax, since you seem knowledgeable. Um... mine *arcs* when I plug anything in. Damn near burned my room up. What can I do?
By *buying* something to fix something that shouldn't have been broken in the first place. Awesome.

Like most college students, she only wants the paper, not the experience.
Dude, I think you may have started on the coffee already...
Indeed...
No, he's alive and kicking.
And my girlfriend's name is Colee. You can't have Colee. If you replace Kenny with a computer of equal or better specs, take him :P

Unlucky you :P

She's mine, you can't have her, by the way.
Damn you! You beat me to it!!
Monopoly, in economic terms, is defined as one player having a major portion of the market, and the market power that goes with it.

Older Palm OS phones are pretty open, as far as apps go. Can put pretty much anything on there.
Ooh, I can use it as an actual music player now :D
Now, if I could just *afford* it...
I hate being in college sometimes.
I'm not a huge fan of any particular composer. Here's what I'd love to see in a concert:
1) Beethoven - 5th Symphony (All three movements!)
2) Overture from La Gazza Ladra
3) Dvorak's New World Symphony
Those three (I've played all three) are the best orchestra pieces I've ever heard.

I-is this a troll? You do realize how TERRIBLY underpowered a DC-AC converter for car is, right?
Seriously...
Most guys do, in fact, associate diamond rings with reward - getting laid is a reward XD

I actually like watching HGTV... good cuddling coversation with the girlfriend. "Do you like that, honey? Why?"

No, for me, a while is as far back as I can remember >.
Which, unfortunately, isn't that damn long :( Usually 1-2 years tops anymore :(
