No, the HD is still the overall bottle neck for a modern computer. Everything else is very application specific for it to be the bottle neck. For general purpose computing the hard drive is the bottle neck.
wow, I had to go back and look it up. For some reason I though Cameron did T2 but not T1. The Abyss was pretty good though you're right about that one. I do have to say that T2 and Aliens are the only two sequels I can ever think of that were as good possibly better, if a little different, than the originals.
I think it would be more like he would be photographed and mapped to a computer model and some young kid will be in the green room with the motion tracking suit.
I had this happen with my old Mortgage company. Double charged my debit card on the first month after a refinance.
I called them and they said it would be a 1-3 month investigation and they'd return the money. I said screw that, called my bank and had the money back in my account in less than an hour. Explained to the teller on the phone what happened she saw the two identical charages and reversed one. I never heard anything back from that. That was about 3 years ago and I got out of that mortgage company.
except there is already a pretty healthy black market to step up and take it's place. Gems and precious metals, among others. Although it would help. It'd also push us more and more into debt card realm. As good or bad as that may be.
yea, I refer to this as the "cut and run" date. At which point we all know the ocean life wins. I think we need to "stay the course." Not set a date that the ocean life can hide until.
This has been shown as true. When everyone (or at least a significant portion of a population) has guns overall crime rate has been shown to be significantly lower. Problem being that specifically violent crime is sometimes slightly higher and gun related deaths is always higher.
Some see this as a bad thing, I see it as a way to weed out the bad people.
Also Militia is not the same as Military. Militia is citizens called to action. Military is solders employed by the government. The reason this was important at the time the constitution was written is they new it was the Militias that helped win the war and they wanted to make sure that option was always available.
One nice thing about emulation though is there are lots of up sizing algorithms that work well for video games and you can make old NES games look smooth on large HD tvs.
Where as I look at it just the opposite. I'll do everything I can to become rich so that I will get these benefits as well. It's not a problem it's an incentive. And living in a world where 3/4 of the Forbes 500 richest people in the world are all new money (meaning they earned it not inherited it), that is a very achievable Idea. I suggest you do the same. The world will be better of if we all do.
Wow, perhaps the BMW was his personal dream. He didn't have enough to buy a new one every week, but wanted to get one as his personal gift for spending the years saving up for it.
As a fellow kegerator builder I must give props on a very well done one. I love the tile top.
Mine was built out of an old fridge that was just large enough to hold a keg. I then just drilled and put the tap in the door. I shaved off the handles and cleaned up/painted the outside to make it look nice, then painted the inside with a gold spray paint. Figured the keg should sit in a bed of gold. Only other thing I wanted to do was make it so when you opened the door, angelic music would play. You know the Ahh Ahh Ohhh thing that usually plays in movies when someone talks to god.
This I got the idea from slashdot back 5 or 6 years ago when the Mame cabinets were all the nerdy rage: http://24.251.127.62:8088/gallery/MAME_Arcade The one with the Mame across the top was built from scratch.
About 2 years ago I decided to get into hobbie prop building. One of the first things I built was a vacuum-forming table out of some MDF an empty beer keg a bit of metal from Home depot and a home built heating element. http://24.251.127.62:8088/gallery/vacformtable
I started by building the lego mock up at the bottom of that link then started aquaring the other parts. It has been used to make several diffirent things from replica guns to costume masks and helmets.

Ohh, you said it now you better run and start doing backups. All your hard drives are doomed to fail in the next week.

I always thought James Cameron should only do sequels. Stay away from originals and remakes.

Yea, or the IRS they are cash flow positive.

that's like thinking "Camels are probably telling each other their toes look like human vaginas"
Humorous but not likely.
what a complete misnomer then. They are more like legs or arms than feet anyway.
I vote for a name change. How about Squishy?
Tell ya what, I'll pay for the electric bill out of my own pocket.
Better value there anyway.
Ahh, when I did this about 5 years ago that was not even close to the case. I guess I should take a second look.

You'll need a pc that has some kind of TV out.

Thanks a lot ass hole.
I'm curring it in the dumpster. Should be ready in a day or two.
perhaps it is my slow link or so far low rating. Could be that it is Saturday morning. but so far I've only had about 50-60 hits.
I guess people are listening.

Wow I make a lot I forgot about some of these other things.
This came from an article in MAKE Magazine

This one is still in my garage and is on the back burner right now but needs to be completed:

Please go easy on my little gallery box it's only a PII dual 233 with 128 megs of ram.

I have used this thing to make several diffirent things from speaker boxes to Stormtrooper armor. It has been a blast. The latest project I have made has been a rotocast machine.

Is that why I found a dead cat in my back yard yesterday?
"by eliminating all"
Which is of course impossible.
