    it should grab some auto configuration data first like host name, ip, maybe a quick hardware list from device manager then use this information to configure the install.

    I wouldn't even say "significantly better" if someone came up with something that did everything X does and even one or two more things I'd probably switch. I just use a lot of features of X11 and use several of the advanced features of xfree86. but if another project could do it better I have no real brand loyalty.

    Could it be because running linux on an Intel chip gives you the ability to move to another chip easily. (typing this from my Sparc system).

    A heavier wheel rim also takes more energy to accelerate, more so than the same mass on the chassis does, and increases gyroscopic effects.

    except that with this setup the large/heavy portion of the rim is actually not moving and doesn't affect the acceleration. It does put the weight in the wrong places but the rims shouldn't be too much if any heavier than regular rims.

    exactly only 5 months after I bought my Sony vpl-cx5 the bulb burned out. Come to find out the bulb is only warranted for 3 months. Now I have to spend $300-400 for a new bulb or have a $3000 useless projecter sitting in my house. I really hope this isn't the normal life span of a projector bulb.

    wow only haveing one terminal visable at a time. that must suck I keep my desktop resolution at 1600x1200 so I can fit 9 terminals on my screen at one time.

    The rich are getting richer and the poor may be getting better off but it is the middle class that is suffering from this. I belive that the rich are neccisary, and the poor are always going to be there. but the middle class work force is what needs to be better taken care of.

    There was an ATM at the Walmart up the road that I use to go to. If I swipe my card backwards through it, bang Blue screen. Had to unplug it and reboot it in order to get it back up. Eventually I would just take my other Unix admins over there just to swipe the card backwards and we could all laugh at it.

    Chicks dig it when you can show off mad skilz like that.
