people say that about here as well, I live in a ruarl area outside Phoenix, AZ. Most apartment complexes are large quad buildings; Most newly built houses are within 10' (3M) of each other. Apartments in South Korea in 1993 were small buildings most with one small room some had two small rooms and a community bathroom. Many times to get to these places you had to walk down a narrow ally about 2' (.5M) wide. The few houses I had seen in S. Korea were small and had several families living in them. They were usually on a rice patty/farm and on the edge of the city.
Most all of S. Korea was developed in some way. City, Farm, Cemitary, military base were about the only things you could find. Almost no Parks, reserves, open land, etc...
Could it be that cities and houseing in Japan and Korea are all piled on top of each other.
I spent a year just outside of Soul, Korea and I can say that they don't worry too much about cableing. Huge junktion boxes of shody wireing jobs for electic and phone going into each building. I don't think it would be hard to wire up many of them quickly.
Most would make the back of a stereo or computer wireing job look like it was organized.
That was 10 years ago so it could be wired better now but they are still extreamely close together.
SCO has a copyright on not writing stuff? Wow, they're going to be after me next. Ohh wait, Ill post this useing HTML then I can say I did write something.
I don't know about his first album but his first recorded song was done in the bathroom of a studio during a Dr. Demento show. Al used his acordin while his drummer used the case for a beat, and they recorded "Anotherone Rides the Bus"
I think this is a quite abit diffrent. Distortion and other effects are not adjusting the music to be better. I can't play guitar very well but adding distortion makes my playing sound cooler but doesn't make my playing any better.
This is more akin to paint by number painting. all you have to do is get the tones close and the song will come out, just like all you have to do is fill in the numbers with the corisponding color.
Faster startup and smaller size. by 6.0 stuff should start before you click on it and it should fit in less that 640k. Haven't we been promised these two things in every version so far?
Bigger and slower is all I ever seem to get from KDE.
he has, it's called the GPL with use of the exceptions clause. The exceptions clause is the portion of the GPL where you can put in your own changes such as binary modules.
Don't forget the touch-and-jerk method. If something looks like it might have power running through it make sure you touch it quickly and jerk away to make sure that it isn't hot. Check here for more information about the touch-and-jerk method, or do a google search
Excatly, I leave mine on all the time. This way even if I am on vacation and I have something on my computer I want to get to I can ssh into work and to my desktop. I can ssh from pretty much anywhere on the internet into my work desktop to check things like email.
I like the idea of one tool box (ie Nautilus) and multiple tools in that box (ie cd burner, web browser, image viewer, etc...) with components you still end up with one basic program that does everthing it just makes sure it flows easier. I just noticed yesterday that Galeon and Nautilus, ui wise, look almost exactly the same. Why doesn't Nautilus just have a galeon mode, from a component, that makes for one less primary window to create.
I'm building a car right now with part Ford Explorer parts (rear Axle), part Chevy Astrovan parts (4.3L vortec engine), part Jeep Cherokee parts (New transmission), and mainly Jeep Wrangeler parts (frame and body). With a little help from Advance Adapters it all goes to gether fairly nice.

The best is when people say "I use to like them when they were small." Doesn't that mean they were right. The band was/is good?
Always cracks me up.

ohh the joke worked like a charm, I thought he ment tieing a knot would make the data sync work and was looking for the technical reason behind it.
got it now.

Could you explain? Why did it work like a charm?
Yea, instead of listing to my advice just grab wires at random and hold on tight.
ohh lordy some people
Well, yea, if your rich and can afford hte $30 for one.
I figured the results of my google search would atleast be enough to show I was kidding.
what is a millibit? can you really send just part of a bit, yet alone 1/1000th of a bit?

Dude!!! HAM sales, world wide, were well into the hundreds last year alone.
I like just put the us first and eu second and reverse the letters in us:
SUE U
I beat that game almost every day.
with 3 disks you could have 18 copies, sell each one for $100 bucks and you can make $1800 of of 3 $.50 cds.
that is going to be my step 2 damn it.
obligatory Episode 3 profit post.
"You forgot to mention Windows."
Yeah, it was a huge blunder for MS to do all the R&D for KDE and Gnome to copy and give away free.
