I'm not a big fan of military adventurism, but securing profits for right people also means that they are securing profits for everyone here. Rich people get that way through voluntary exchange of money where you have received a value higher than you paid for an item or service. for every greedy rich bastard there are hundreds of thousands of greedy consumers like your self.
Screw that, the government should just provide everyone with smartphones. Why should I have to pay greedy profit driven corporations in order to have the basic right of communications. They should nationalize the wireless carriers and offer subsidized phones for all at reasonable prices. Or even free to the disadvantaged. Screw the profits of the fat cat money leaches.
I'm talking on a sub-voxel level in the 3d rendering not in the terrain generation itself. to make something more like the first couple of images here http://www.google.com/search?q=smooth+minecraft
I'd trust that "lust for profit MBA CEO" much farther than a typical "Friends in Gov CEO" that has enough favors to produce the right kind of regulation to insure he profits and nobody else can. We need to get government out of business and allow free-markets to actually work.
I'd like to see a terrain smoothing algorithm that would allow the block placement but it'd find some way to make certain parts of terrain flow, like dirt sand and gravel, while having separate building materials that would come out square.
I have played with scripted NPCs in minecraft with npcx a bit on my server at mc.bongaming.com but the plugin was rather sketchy so I currently have it disabled.
By "looking something up" is not, at least in geek culture, meant to be complete ignorance of a subject prior to the research. It is more along the lines, I have read, possibly in detail, about that subject and know specifically where to go to find the details once again. Although I can't regurgitate them on demand. There are many subjects that I have become an expert in, in a short amount of time and then mostly forget what I had learned other than the basics and where to get the information if needed in the future.
Is it that difficult to understand even basic economics? They offer a service for people to buy at a market price. It's their choice to buy it or not. If nobody wants it at the price they offer then they'll either have to discontinue if there is no money to be made or lower the price to pick up buyers. You can't even try to claim it's a monopoly here as there are many choices if you are not happy with their service, go elsewhere.
I do the same thing. It's really a minivan that I drive but I call it a sports car. It's got 4 wheels and a motor so it's exactly the same, oh except that it is different.
sorry words have to be defined and understood to mean what they are suppose to mean. and I like Garriage better. Then a gay couple could say they got garyed. Id feel sorry for all the Garys of the world.
So she says people are free to carry guns, that words should be well defined and mean what they are meant to mean, and that murder is wrong. Seems like a pretty good consistent stance to me.
close, although they have all been in the name of political progress at the expense of capitalism. Capitalism, by it's nature, just adjusts to take advantage of the new bureaucracy of ills created by over regulation which has made it nearly impossible to do any type of business without being a criminal if only on paper. Once at that point why not just be a true criminal?
As another one of those something to do with AOL CDs in the 90s we used a bit on a dremmel and spun them up to 20-30k rpm then let run across the floor, out the door and down the street a few hundred yards.
Another government sponsored organization that produces nothing but spews FUD at those that do. You have to love the non-committal "may cause..." couldn't that be said about anything and everything?
Salt may not be highly radioactive, but it does have other health implications. I'd suggest skipping the grain per read item rule. Especially for heavy readers.
For Hollywood, copyright has one meaning: inflating their profits. Unfortunately, almost everyone in America has forgotten that copyright is supposed to exist to improve the people's access to works of art by making money for copyright holders, and so Hollywood manages to get away with their abuse of our legal system.

It's fine with me, it's just trillions of dollars in government money not my money.
naked and petrified?
covered in hot gritz.
yea I've been here a while.
Are you saying it's not?
Looking at history, how many unregulated or non-government sponsored markets have been able to abuse their positions?

Umm, neither needs one...
If you don't like your job, go get another.
If your skill set isn't in demand and doesn't pay what you'd like, learn something new.
Unions protect lazy rights at the expense of the workers.
but they would probably love to help sober drivers avoid the inconvenience of sitting in line at a checkpoint.

"How can they justify any of this?"

I know it always seems like a good jab, but the US isn't "not producing anything anymore."

Perhaps she should have used a car analogy?
