A Google, Apple, Firefox and Kevin Rose wankfest. Nothing against any of those individually, but put them all together with a fanatical userbase and it can be pretty painful sometimes.

It seems like the goal of their comparisons were to highlight the bang-for-the-buck value - the amount of 'high quality' storage you can get for the price - so it sorta makes sense that they'd compare it to an older technology that is a bit cheaper. For a company that's looking to get the greatest amount of space for the cheapest amount of money, 100/133 PATA almost certainly would be a consideration.
But it does get kinda confusing when they start throwing performance figures out there. Is it because performance was the goal? Or is it because the RAID level that doesn't sacrifice any overall drive space just happens to be considered a performance array level?
They have 2-, 3-, 4-, and 8-bay kits to suite your need. Get 'em with or without drives, cables, etc. The only drawback I see is the lack of a controller card (might have to go with something like the Sonnet further down the page). Then again, this may not be such of a drawback, since you're not stuck with a built-in RAID controller, in the event of it being a pile of junk.
$451 for an empty 8-bay with no cabling ain't too bad.
I'd really like to see them fix the 404 loop that's existed in IE since... oh, I dunno... ever?
Go to http://osdn.net/gjhjhfewkjfa (ovbiously not a real page). You'll get a 404. From there, immediately go to http://osdn.net/gdsjashejk (yet another obvious error). Next, begin slowly clicking the back button. After 2 clicks, you're stuck.
It doesn't affect it's usability, but it sure does affect my opinion of their software.
At most you might have to by a D/A converter of some kind. For cable TV, a digital signal is transmitted to your cable box, your cable box converts the signal to analog, and the analog signal is transmitted to your tv. For non-cable subscribers, you'll probably just get a D/A converter.

The Belkin Nostromo n52 (http://www.tomshardware.com/game/200403061/) is sort of the same concept, with a bit of a compomise between features and ergonomics. Not all of the buttons are directly beneath a finger tip, but the use of shift states increases the number of configurable buttons to 104. D-pad and scroll wheel are there, too.
I thought cable was already opened for broadband competition. Here in Central Florida, there is only one cable provider in most areas (Bright House Netorks, with a bit of overbuild with Adelphia and or Cox in some areas), but where broadband ISPs are concerned, everywhere that Bright House Networks offers service, you have the choice of any of 4 ISPs.
Bright House themselves doesn't have a 'house brand' (Road Runner is considered by some to be the house brand, but Bright House owns no stake in Road Runner as far as I know), but I thought this was exactly the thing that caused them to add other providers 2-3 years ago.
What did I miss? Is it the case with Bright Hosue that they didn't necessarily have to allow competition but decided to anyway?
This is the first thing I thought of. Any All Touch remote (given out by many cable companies) has a code search feature that allows you to find your code. It just so happens that these code search features work by paging through code sets and sending the power on/off toggle, expecting you to lock in the code when your TV goes off (or on).
So, yeah, youre right. People could have been getting their asses kicked all along.

My personal experience has been that you really only need a NAT device, not browse porn sites, and beware of what e-mail attachments you download. And that's about it.
Death metal is definitely not popular music and not directed toward a very large audience, unless you consider Limp Bizkit (ugh) to be extreme death metal. Maybe your definition of extreme death metal and pop would clear things up.

Seems like you could save quite a bit of money by going with something like this (assuming it was SATA you're looking for):

Worse than that, some poor family on either Lawndale Dr or Landershire Ln in Plano, TX is going to have their house burned down.
Why in the world does it cost $80?
stop making up acronyms for every stupid little thing (ESLT).

Folks don't mind paying $50+ per hour for their vehicle repairs, but nobody wants to pay that sort of money to get their operating system de-loused.
If only one could reformat/reinstall their car troubles away...

Post questions for Clinton below. We'll send him 10 selected ones by e-mail, and expect his answers within a week or so. That seems to say it all...
