I am atheist as well, however I suppose it wouldn't be right to portray jews as atheists just as it wouldn't be right to portray atheists as monotheists.
No kidding. That's why it uses the Firefox renderer by default for untrusted sites. The only way you're going to get it to use the IE renderer on it is if you tell it to.
Sorry. Sony is still getting their ass kicked by Nintendo in the handheld market, and they will continue to do so for the next couple of years most likely. While Sony could definitely turn that around, I wouldn't call it yet. It's too early to tell.
Perhaps if the summary accurately reflected the article, then this misconception wouldn't exist. Unfortunately it clearly states otherwise in the summary.

The US doesn't have a CD-R/MP3 player tax like other countries. This proposal is just absurd.
Something I forgot on my little crappy diagram is the fact that you have to also lookup the addresses for the nameservers that the GTLD servers and will give you. And if these are not handled by the GTLD server, e.g. if yourdomain.com uses DNS servers under.org, then it has to start from the beginning and get the IP of that DNS server as well. Otherwise, it will be provided as additional information in the response from the gtld server.
As you can see, the root server only provides information for the top level domains. Those being com, org, us, uk, au, etc.
It's commonly thought that they handle things like 'google.com' which isn't true. google.com, in thise case, would be known by {a,b,c,d,etc}.gtld-servers.net. Each TLD has its own nameservers, obviously. But com and net use those.
As for the TTL issue. I do offer Dynamic DNS which has a default TTL of 180 seconds, however I have not run into this personally. Or myself and my users just haven't noticed it.
As someone earlier posted, once you have some solid work experience on your resume, you won't have any trouble. Getting those first 2 or 3 jobs (especially the first job) is the hardest part. After you've had a few and have a solid work background on your resume, you might as well shred that paper you spent so much time and money on.
dknj! ..
hey..
Ok.. I knew someone named MrP or MrP-, and sometimes MeRP from IRC a long time ago. Was just wondering if it was you :)
Were you once also known as MeRP?
Thank you. I was wondering the same thing. These people are thinking of Dow Jones, the other big index.

Out of curiosity, is banning the burning of flags a popular thing in modern democracies? Where is it currently banned?
It definitely is not. Notice it has no separate number pad. Big difference.
:)
PS: I have one as well.. An old Professional QD.. Still in heavy use
They have it in Tempe, AZ as well (I don't live there, I've just been there a bunch of times). Good times :-)

And btw, as it says on the page, if a mac is sharing the printer, it has to be running 10.4 Tiger. So I'm guessing that they added/fixed this in 10.4.
Isn't Guadalupe in the middle of Tempe? It might be covered just because of its location. I imagine it would be.
they can compete with Tempe's pricing. They're not offering it for free everywhere or for something like $15/mo as has been suggested elsewhere.

Apple already has a trademark on Tiger as well..
I ran into the exact issue you outlined when using an early version of Darwin's build chain. Except, it was done with a Makefile during make install :)

To be even more specific, here is how a typical lookup happens (assuming NO cached data):
....." ...." ... google.com NS ns1.google.com"
Specifics per implementation might be off, but either way it ends in the same result:
Recursive -> Root Server: "ANY? www.google.com"
Root Server -> Recursive: "com NS a.gtld-servers.net
Recursive -> a.gtld-servers.net: "ANY? www.google.com"
a.gtld-servers.net -> Recursive: "google.com NS ns1.google.com
Recursive -> ns1.google.com: "ANY? www.google.com"
ns1.google.com -> Recursive: "www.google.com A 1.2.3.4
As you can see, the root server only provides information for the top level domains. Those being com, org, us, uk, au, etc.

Isn't GE already researching/implementing this technology?
GE does everything. Take a look at their market cap:
$378.95B
Just for comparison...
IBM's Market Cap:
$125.22B
WalMart's Market Cap:
$201.91B
and Microsoft's Market Cap:
$266.13B
GE will adapt and survive..
You have a 1 year warranty on parts when you buy the computer, so of course they replaced it..
He was sentenced to more. Mr. Spammer has not served his time yet. He could only serve 1.5, who knows...
Perforce is free for open source development.. for now.. ;-)
