Its getting slashdotted right now and is still up. That's more than I can say about most <1 month old sites. Whats to document? Its probably a few solr servers for searching balanced round robin by haproxy with nginx serving the mostly static pages.
It seems like a simple design, which is what healthcare.gov should have tried to be. I'm guessing feature creep stopped it from being so simple.
If this seems to work after a few years, they may try. The corn farmers are protected by Agricultural Lobbies, I am guessing that they want to get people used to targeted ingredients removal before messing with the big kids.
Corn syrup is in a lot of foods, I can see the news stories now of whoever proposes the law is trying to take away all your favorite foods. You are not allowed to eat what you want, etc. I think eventually it will happen, but you will see more resistance than to the trans-fat.
Have you played final fantasy 13? Granted the level of video production is unmatched, but the characters are stereotypical and annoying. Its the most linear role-playing game that I have played, and I have played progress quest.
Is it too late to reinvent cartridges by sticking the games on 64gb usb sticks? I miss the tactile feel of the game, the blowing out the dust so it kinda works if you hold it in when it starts.
They could just implement their own system, like Ext4 or something, the problem being that Fat and NTFS are like the only things Windows can read and write. You can get some programs that let you do it, but they are not as seamless as something like fuse is in Linux mounting windows partitions. It is a problem created by Microsoft, which apparently they have earned 2 billion for.
Especially if you live in some 3rd world country where they don't care if you sell drugs as long as you can pay the Generalissimo. The location of the server makes little difference in a dark net.
He's not. It's meant to be retaliation, a life as a slave. It doesn't take 1.5 million dollars to regain access to some routers. I wonder if they used this as an excuse to buy new routers, and charged him for those.
The furthest planet that we have found yet is 21,500 ± 3,300 light years away according to Wikipedia. Unless they are going to get far better telescopes, I don't think it will be millions of years old.
I believe these things use lists of hashes of the domains to increase the speed of lookup. It's possible that you have a hash collision with a malware site. They are super rare, but possible. Not sure what you can do about that. It's also possible that there is something that reads as an infected file hosted on your site. A pdf or something that looks like a virus.
Not if he buys his yacht from New Zealand. Then if New Zealand has a sales tax they get the money, otherwise he just keeps it and fills a swimming pool on his yacht with money.
Unfortunately those same people have continued to streamline newer Diablo release far past the point they should have. When i play a character based rpg, I don't want to respec for each area I go through. It breaks my sense of character, and they all feel the same. I really enjoyed playing Skyrim, but after a while it turns into a 'follow the waypoint' sort of game, and even though every character has individual stories, I don't end up caring.
Personally, I prefer something like Brogue, Sil, or Dwarf Fortress. Even if they have ascii graphics, the emergent gameplay is far more in-depth than AAA titles.
There must be some happy middle ground where we can have the depth but also acceptable graphics.
There are literally hundreds of review sites. Some of them are even name recognizable. Gamespot, Metacritic, IGN, etc. Before you say that they are limited to a certain category, when was the last time Siskel and Ebert reviewed an Anime that wasn't produced by Studio Ghibli?
Well, there is a solution to this. Apple maps is used on a device with gps tracking, so when you are physically located in mainland China you can say that Taiwan is a province of China, and when you are in Taiwan you say that it's a separate nation. Problem solved, everyone happy except fishermen using the app. But get a real waterproof gps if you are on a boat.
It seems to me that the poorest, most underdeveloped nations that contribute the least to global emissions are the ones getting the short end of the stick fromevery policy ever.
They are contributing least to global emissions, lets keep it that way.

This is the only way to slow the spread of Cooties. Tell your kids the risks. Get tested.

Since 2006, the amount of trans far eaten by the average American has declined from 4.5g per serving to less than 1g
Are we thinner yet?

v4 Puts people in a sort of shared dreamworld to use as batteries. Or to use their brains as processing power, which would have been way better IMHO.
Mod parent up. Particularly that last bit.

But how else will I do my Blues Brothers parking job perfect every time?

And you want me to try that manually? Do you want me to hit 2 cars and then flip over?
