I think this is more of a program issue. I think certain programs are set up to open IE to go to a link instead of opening your default browser when opening a link.
I can't think of any specific ones, but I know I've had certain programs that would always open IE no matter how the system was configured, yet others would use FF without issue.
You're right. American cinema is much better. A love story always must be present, no matter how badly forced. The good guy will always win. Moral choices are seldom ambiguous. It doesn't matter how it happens but that car WILL explode.
Can I be xenophobic too? Or would it be anthrophobic?
At launch of the i7 platform, dual channel kits were about $150 for 2 2gb sticks and tri channel kits of 2gb x3 were about $200. Those were 1600mhz sticks too boot. You could get 1066 or 1333 for much cheaper.
It was a 25% increase for 33% more ram.
However, now the old dual channel ddr3 kits are taking a nose dive because they require 1.8+ volts to run and the i7 platform is spec'd for 1.65 and lower. They're trying to clear out the older higher voltage stuff. It also makes sense for them to charge more because they have to put forward the same performance at a significantly lower voltage.
Additionally, you have to consider brands. Corsair is almost always the most expensive in it's category. I was just shopping for some ram and OCZ and Corsair had sticks with identical specs, yet the Corsair was almost twice as much. Corsair had big black fins for heatsinks and that was about the only difference.
I think you're over looking the fact that if they were gamers to begin with, they wouldn't have purchased a Mac, or if they were and did, they'd be using XP.
"Hi, I noticed you're writing a ransom letter. Would you like a few pointers? If you use more threatening language, you can probably get a lot more money. Also, make sure you use gloves when you print the letter so the police can't track your finger prints"
I have talked to many people in management positions and they've said the same thing.
As for why didn't any one help him, he didn't want help. He was happy using and wouldn't stop if anyone tried to make him. Infact, he'd been to treatment twice before and was still on the horse.
He was late everyday, but only like 1-2 minutes, and that's highly subjective to the clock you were looking at. So yea, he was nitpicked out, but it happened after I quit.
=\ I can identify. When I was young every time I went to the doctor I'd complain of chest pains and headaches and painful breathing.
The answer was always, "Hmm... keep an eye on it and let me know if it continues or gets worse." It went on like that for YEARS because I go to the doctor like once a year...
The pain stopped and my headaches were written off as computer strain. I went to a chiropractor several years later for a sore shoulder and he took some xrays. I have scoliosis and all the pain I had growing up was due to my ribs growing the wrong way.
Thankfully, it was found well after anything could be done about it. Really disgusts me that I will never be able to sleep a full night because that lazy prick didn't want to take one xray.
Sure we do, you just need a more liberal state.
Here in good old Minnesota, employees can not be fired for drug addiction unless the refuse FREE treatment. I can't remember who pays for the treatment, but I know it's either the state or the company.
I used to work with a guy that shot heroin 3 times a day and everyone knew it. However, no one wanted to fire him or pay for his treatment, so they just let it slide. They finally just started riding his ass over every mistake until he got fed up and quit.
How can you say breast cancer doesn't directly affect men? What are we going to play with when they get cut off!?
Men donating to breast cancer research are just protecting their sex lives.
How would that actually prevent the explosion? Wouldn't the magnetic field only prevent anti-matter/matter annihilation in a vacuum? There's plenty of matter in the air to un-create. Wouldn't the magnetic field either change the trajectory of the warhead or, at best, slightly shape the blast? I don't see how it could actually be neutralized.
The Mayans predicted Skynet...
What about Server 2008 or Home Server?

Yea, it's not a position where the members are inherently good and a paragons of society like being a priest.
Before it even leaves your mouth.

Should you still be thinking horses if you're in the bull pen?
No, obscurati is already taken. It's defined as "persons claiming to understand Dennis Miller's jokes."

If you had played sports instead of Wii Sports you either: A) be able to defend yourself or B) be friends with the guys now kicking your ass.
Wow, I was trying to be funny, way to be all "men are dying." Party pooper.
Does the 15 seconds include microwaving the orange "meat" patty?
Were they arrested because the tree wasn't metric?
