    I bought radio shack brand rechargable batteries, they worked fine in my palm pilot and remote controls for a while. I did make the mistake of leaving my palm pilot untouched for a month (moved into a house, couldn't find the box it was in) and they leaked all over the place. I blame myself for this, (palm still works) so just becarefull with your rechargeable batteries, I guess with any battery as well.

    Why would a balloon need to avoid objects? They are hiding what "true" intelligence this balloon has! Maybe they meant "shoot down" objects that try to intercept it! I bet the balloon says "All your base are belong to us!" on it.

    Seriously though, why would it need to avoid objects? and how? it has its own propulson system?

    I just built a new home and bought a linksys wap. It works great, I get good coverage from the basement to the second floor and even down my driveway. I was going for cheap since all of my machines are 1ghz and under. With the cable modem and a BSD firewall life is good, I can surf from the back deck, watch people fish in the lake accross the field and drink a beer.

    I think we should really examine what policys are pissing people off to this point. I also feel no remorse for countries that want to destroy us just because we are christian. Now if we have wrong them and are assiting another country in attacking them that needs to be examined and halted. No one side of a civil conflict should have the help of bigbrother for destruction only resolution. Since bin ladens has declared war on us..he said so..we should erradicate him. I think airlines need MUCH more stricter security measures, I think carry-on luggage should be banned and stewardesses should be replaced by security guards. With MACE and battons who have all had 20 year background checks. Cockpits should be secure compartments and pilots should ignore all requests to open the door. The cockpit should be self-suffcient bathroom/food etc...and require nothing from the passenger compartment. Pilots should board from a seperate door entirely. People with baggy or loose clothing should be patted down. All personnel at airports should have background and security personnel should be certified..

    Extreme actions call for extreme measures.

    I think this was meant as a joke. Full house vs python is apples and oranges. Full house is for 8 year olds and python is for people who have a sharp wit. I can stare blank faced at a segemnt of full house and not even grin at the jokes because they are for children.

    The guy who rooted sourceforge and apache trojans the sshd binary to capture passwords. Based on what accounts he captures he targets those hosts.
    So disable password authentication for starters and use keys. Or OTP technology.

    When your 13 you dont really think about your actions before you take them. He was probably just very curious, and didnt think what he was doing was being malicious. Even a malicious action at that age isnt really thought about. I am sure they scared him well to death. I know they must have told him he would rot in jail. They should have left the legal stuff out of it and said "We are suspending you, your parents will have to think of a good punishment"

    I am sure he got "We are suspending you, and filing a lawsuit. Your going to go to jail for a long time young man. This is a fellony!!!!"

    You know they did.
