Absolutely right...looks like the hot ticket, taking nothing away from the homebrew stands. But why must the price be out in the stratosphere? Sure, the iPod isn't cheap [the bang:buck ratio has improved] but $100? For half that I'd be there but not a full C-note.

I'll second this. Last month was the end of my latest 1-yr contract with Sprint so I called a few weeks before trolling for favors - I figured, been with them a few years so what are they gonna do to keep my business? Long stroy short, talked with the retention dept and kept my 8PM evenings start-time, bumped to 400/4000 for $35/mo. so I'm a happy camper until next October.
OT: Had I not used my last mod-point earlier this would get a "Troll" easily.
Regardless of the above poster's bigotry, what I see [and no, I'm not a satellite user] is an opportunity, a challenge - a chance to do some digging and question asking, as Untimely Ripp'd has done. Geez but it seems like so many people would rather rip someone else's choice of platform instead of offering up some helpful comments.Whatever happened to digging and scrounging for a solution?
"Take out "and protect" and you have a complete translation."
That got some serious thought before posting my original thoughts but I'll tell you why I sided with leaving it in: they'll use the "protection" angle to sell the idea.

Maybe this should actually read:

"wouldn't the RedBull be closer to you if you were reading your email infront of the fridge?"
Good point...but then I wouldn't be able to prop my feet up on the UPS/foot-rests under the desk [keeps the toes warm during the cold months and is darned comfortable too, don'cha see].
...the LAST thing I want to do is stand infront of the fridge reading emails,/. or any of my other fave sites. Much rather be relaxing in my chair, RedBull close at hand...

It's early, no blood-level caffeine yet etc. but this gets me for some reason...can't put my finger on it quite, though.
OK, getting the l'il unit involved with comps is great but ya gotta give yourselves some credit here.
OT...why, sointley.

So why was is at -1??? This is as good if not better than anything 1 or above at the moment.
I'm confused: first you say let the innocents die but hands off the 'net access. In closing, you say let the bombs rain down and so what if the wires go silent.
Why the .com then? Why not .net?
Meanwhile, Kazaa and Morpheus claim tens of millions of registered users who download a wide variety of tracks for free.

Actually, American labor.

By all means, talk with retention.
Overall of 3.5 - on paper.
Let's be practical and say it's ~2.5 or so [yes, pulled out of thin air but based on lots of experience with laptops/tablet PC's].
IMNSHO, not nearly enough battery life is what users in the real world will see. Status quo, I'm afraid.
Got to give you points for the insight but...

Maybe it's just me but what's the difference?

Exactly. If I wanted market-spin disguised as a review I'd subscribe to Ziff-Davis rags.
