    I read somewhere that one reason the phone companies have tried to keep people from using cellphones on flights is when the call is made from the air it's hard to track it for billing purposes and many times the customer wouldn't get charged at all.

    I'm a big fan of buying used books on half.com and reselling them after i read them. Never been burned but never spent more than 10-15 bucks either. Just happened to browse for an external cd-r drive and a seller offering a HP CD-Writer 8220e for $40 has put in a $193.62 shipping charge. Sneaky.

    Thought the point of college was to meet people, have fun, drink beer, play wiffleball, stay up all night, go on road trips, nap all afternoon stay up all night, play sports, watch crap TV in the dorm lounge while playing pool or ping pong, then cram like hell to finish papers. Sure beats working for a living.

    Since I do 90% of my music listening at work using Winamp, and I have plugins to read Windows Media and Real Audio, I don't care. I don't have sensitive enough hearing (or phony snobbishness) to tell the difference between formats on average PC speakers either.
