"* Knoppix/Kanotix/Mepis. All good choices, but Mepis feels more home user oriented."
Then he lists Kanotix and Knoppix in the section of distros he doesn't recommend.

I call NZ all the time and the regular phonelines are useless compared to Skype. Also just got a lingo.com phone at home, $20/month unlimited calls the US, Canada and most of Western Europe.
"Please install these Kensington laptop locks and use them at all times." said the memo to all laptop users. I google for 2 minutes and find a great instructional video on how to open said laptop lock with a piece of paper and some tape.
A few days go by, a new directive: "Please keep your laptop locked away in a drawer when you leave for the day."
You should have doubled the initial price, then let them haggle you down to the actual price. Works out for everyone, they get to haggle, you make a sale, you get high commission check to take out rich girl from higher caste to fancy restaurant, everyone dances. Roll credits.
NASA scientists, using data from the Indonesian earthquake calculated it affected Earth's rotation, decreased the length of day, slightly changed the planet's shape, and shifted the North Pole by centimeters. The earthquake that created the huge tsunami also changed the Earth's rotation."
What about the effects on the earth's rotation, didn't NASA scientists find anything on that? And I also read that the earth's rotation was affected, as well as the rotation of the earth.
Last time I bought a PC I didn't get any installation discs. I used Knoppix to move some data off the PC before doing a system restore. Turned out it didn't lose any data, but better safe than sorry.
Too bad that this site is getting publicity, I've used it for a while to get Swedish stuff over in the US. A bit worried that it'll get pressured out of existence after this writeup.
OK thanks, still pretty reasonable pricing to say the least.
I did some googling on them and there were some complaints about mutiple credit card charges (not them directly but the third party paypal wannabe they use) and slow site performance.
Have you used the allofmp3 site? A little hesitant to send money off to some Russian site I know nothing about.
Region encoding on dvds drives me nuts, as a European living in the USA I basically have to break the law to watch movies that are never released here.
EGM: Now imagine you've reached the 10th stage, and you're on your last life. Once you die and you put another quarter in, you don't just continue from there--you start all over.
Parker: Are you serious?
EGM: Yep. When you lose all your lives, you have to start over. You don't keep going.

No, I don't find it unbelievable.
Is Jerry Seinfeld posting on slashdot now?

and AOL's revenues declining...
Is it twice as productive? Or half as efficient?
I don't know.

I don't see the synergy.
I caught that one day and she was explaining that someone's pet bat was jealous. I found it amusing in the same way I enjoy Benny Hinn.

What's more likely?
A. The three computers he has available run windows.
B. They don't.
Looks like OneSuite does it, nermind me. I'm just talking to myself. Save lots on long distance that way.
I love skype for home but when I'm on my cellphone I want something like bigzoo that lets me dial a local number.
That's a funny way to justify having something that would save your life.
Just as a reference a marathon is just over 42 km, if you can do it in just over 2 hours you'd make the Olympic team of any country including Kenya.
Good, that saves us from having to move all of you to the new reservations by force.

So that's the excuse they're going with now at Anfield.

Parker: And you guys back then were OK with this?
