So what? Android is a software platform installed on tons of different kinds of hardware. So it's got more hardware issues? well how odd it's installed on more and more widely varied forms of hardware than any other mobile OS.

I've always found people who go on and on about global warming extremely annoying. They talk about saving the earth and the environment but the bottom line is it's about saving the status quo. There have been times in earths history when it was much hotter than it is now and much colder. Humans will survive and so will the earth. If or when the last man bites the dirt the earth will still be here live in kicking unless we managed to do something really bad like strip away the atmosphere.

Well how long till a Cop er I mean a department of Homeland security agent pulls me over for singing to a song I've on my Mp3 hooked up to my car stereo on my way to work. Because that's the direction this is going.
I call BS on the Sony affiliate thing. They've also attacked Minecraft, and the Escapist Magazine. These guys have no purpose or cause other than drama, they are just Anonymous rejects (which is kinda sad) looking for attention.
Sure Notify the Government and turn over a copy of all the files that might of been compromised, so that they can be um closely monitored for any suspicious activity that might lead to the capture of those terrible evil hackers. Because I love the idea of the Government having all the private info I gave to some company and for the people who breached the companies security as well to have it.
