    does it implement the java crypto api (JCE) and how does it compare to The Legion of the Bouncy Castle ?

    can it do PGP otherwise its just another api wrapper essentially because its not a standard i.e. it is no good locking something up if you cant give someone else the keys...

    I'm sorry but I dont believe you and I have not read it myself

    the entire GL board seems to be NVidia or ATI....

    until there is a game published that uses it then it's kind of pointless to say these kind of things

    I mean it's got to be dead after all MacOS uses OpenGL...

    so from the look of it the UI is a nice little play thing
    its annoyed a lot of people

    how many people would be annoyed if they actually supported SVG ?
    or even SVG tiny ? (my phone has support why not mozilla...)

    I know mozilla has some support but really support all of a standard or a section at least such as SVG tiny

    GIVE ME decent GRAPHS please

    thats what I would go for IMAP next would be pop3 if they have disabled both of those services which they would not usually...

    then connect up Entourage on a mac and simply drag and drop alternatively evolution on a linux vmware

    failing that simply forward all the mail to gmail or free email account that you can search in a instant... but no one know about...(if you are smart you will configure outlook to use the gmail (or free provider) as the sending email server so things dont go out through the exchange server alerting the admins there when they look at the traffic also make sure that you use the SSL to smtp out )

    so what I am saying is there are ways around this unless your org monitors everything and even then they can easily fail

    most of the time things like word documents will trip up in litigation so they should not be trying to burn everything what they are trying to do is appear to have a policy so the lawyers are satisfied....

    silly but true and it's frankly dumb

    exactly how are they going to filter the connections ?

    I listen to last.fm thats a music stream in mp3 of copyrighted artist it helps that last.fm (CBS rather large firm) have the license so how is my ISP going to know that ?

    this looks like just as excuse to cut out people who do file sharing they simply will look at the large downloaders and accuse them

    BPI has no technology and nor do the ISP that can differentiate between licensed and unlicensed !

    so they have a server running Office and allow you access via VNC

    bad things : server Load is large and screen refresh means large bandwidth both reasons why the consumers are going to be frustrated

    good things : easy to achieve and fully working (unlike google doc's + others which are basic and I dont trust floating point number rounding to a browser javascript engine )

    my personal thing : if I wanted to use VNC / Citrix / MS Remote Desktop / backtomypc / webex I would But I do not I have a nice PC for that basic editing is nice in javascript anything else really cant cut it so far

    I can not see xvid support on that list.... DivX yes but not XVID

    also Windows Media Center (not player) under vista how would you get XVID support ?
    (I can install the direct show filters but I think this only supports the media player not Media Center )

    OK
    my review -

    GOOD

    My Location actually WORKS !
    My Location works outside of the USA (at least in the UK)
    well put together app not a resource hog on my symbian Nokia Series 60 v2 phone (e50)

    BAD

    you cant do ANYTHING with "My Location" except watch a pretty blue point on the map
    No My Location for route finding
    No traffic outside USA
    Route does not work for a found location it adds a ")" at the end for some reason.

    Nice but you need to actaully finish it or it's just a plaything

    I am curious what Database of cell locations is google using do you gut think ?
    (the phone companies often lie about locations in there headers so you have to build your own (wiggle) or use OFCOM in the uk)

    first of all lets me get this straight I think Gmail is good client and the IMAP access has gone a long way to make it even better BUT

    gmail does NOT SYNC with anything e.g. my contacts in my phone

    solution = syncML !

    contacts, calendar etc lots of others e.g. plaxo (annoying interface) and ZYB have this sorted and here I am fumbling around with CSV files

    I hate it I try and sync with many differant devices and just wish there was a nice way
    hell there is a thunderbird plugin there is a outlook plugin and MOST phones support it....

    please please google gmail 2 should focus on contacts and introduce syncML !

    It really is

    it's great

    it can help locate and tell me how old everything in the store is this helps for perishables - without having to get people to act like basic humaniods and go and count things... to find out how much is spoiled and been stolen

    it can help move things from one store to another

    BUT it needs to be easy to destroy (privacy reasons) so it will not help you prevent thieves !

    they have a nice webmail interface

    but its the extra's that matter...

    performace can be improved (easily enough I think)
    but what concerns me is the support for outlook

    windows mobile support is also I really nice feature

    BOTH of these where in the paid version so zimbra thought that people would pay for this...

    lets hope they improve because the promised outlook 2007 support is a way behind schedual..

    ok the problem is that people/people worrying about spam are not publishing callerid and DKIM in DNS

    before we blame ISP's for not doing it by default we must (those people who read slashdot) ask out hosts to do it
    make sure we have done it for our domains

    ANTISPAM NEEDS YOU

    simple

    if you send mail from a domain make sure it has a callerid and if possible use DKIM

    ISP's who sell domains and put a MX record in by default Without at least a callerid record are wrong... lets correct ours and then ask them to correct theirs

    spamassassin can check SPF and DKIM so enable it NOW !

    Microsoft callerID and exchange/outlook resources

        Kerio CallerID check to help chek your setup
        yahoo resources on Domain Keys and setup for various MTA's

    hey there

    gmail will be correctly set as the sender so SPF records will be correct

    the problem is other domains that do not...

    basically we need DKIM that signs the message so that when we get somthing back we examin the sig and if it does not have our DKIM we reject it

    simple we need both SPF and DKIM in the real world

    why oh why

      DVB-T is the standard adopted by Europe and Asia (and perhaps other places as well?) for Digital OTA broadcasting, while ATSC is used in the U.S.A., Mexico, South Korea, and Taiwan

    you can do HD over DVB I have seen BBC trials...

    I can buy lots of DVB equipment from usb sticks that are linux/MacOS/Windows laptop compatable to PCI cards and custom decoders

    its feaking everywhere

    what are the options for ATSC ?

    why ATSC technical reasons ?

    all that SPF CallerID and DKIM does is validate the sender !

    this cuts out about 70% of (stupid) spammers
    you also need to blacklist people who send you spam (and you can be confident that you get them because of the above technologies)
    if you Ever want to send lots of mail to hotmail users you need to have callerID setup yahoo and gmail both trust you more if you have domainKeys
    so things are moving on and there is no reasson why people should not have at least one of SPF CallerID or DKIM setup on their domain !

    you will note that people here also use filtering but the question is does the filtering feedback to the blacklists ?

    intel has a architecture license for ARM processors it had to buy one even after it took over the StrongARM from digital

    now what happens ?

    realistically I see more legs on a chip marketed from a company other than intel BUT

    INTEL IS going to be pushed out of alot of markets simply because it does not have a solution for them now that Xscale is not in the stable

    this is bad for intel but I suspect it makes a easy argument at exec level (well as these easy as these things can be ) because they want to be seen to do something

    forget about the emerging PDA/Smartphone market (and just when it was getting intresting with Microsofts intergarted message product and MS VOIP products )
