java is a good lang because it is strongly typed the implemetation of java is whats been lacking java needed to be more GUI it has all the programming features that you wanted this is what they added with 1.2,1.1 on the other hand is basic and you should have no probs running it on small little machines with 4mb ok

redhat are cool for letting you download all of the os unlike SUSE or Caldera because you just get tryouts and so on pooh

first caldera is THE distro to Lure 9X users away from their over indulagance in hardware
I managed to get my whole house to go over to it a DirectX programer and a VB (doodler not a programer) and that says something why because they wanted to use something to get work done and Caldera has this and thats it !
it works it dosnt want you to recompile the kernal it dosnt want you to edit.conf files so it is perfect for the over 45's office still working in dos spreadsheets they are NEWBIE's and this is what they want !

first of all Colour (im in the UK) is on the new PSION it is 32 bit and comes in 2 model's one a bit like the palm but smaller and NO scribbling (handwriting recognition ) PSION think that most of the stuff is checking Box's and basic entry don't ask me I haven't seen this one !
But what I have seen is colour sub notebook if that the right term for it psion have always been the king when it came to keyboards in a small way hell typing on a CE machine doesn't cut it !
they are very cool! psion batteries last weeks/months not the days stuff and they are doing it again !!(advanced batterys like those sony wanted to use)

import export from all major WP hell I want one to KEEP

the other thing they would have to do is provide help for the open 2D source.
Manufacturers would I think in general like to support the GNU movement but have to much to lose in the way of competitors copying them so by offering them the chance to show off their cards in OpenGL as long as they help with the 2D side of things any thoughts ??
basicly the surport for the fire gl 100 pro which is a agp card is sooo bad for my mates box dont know why I am useing Xfree 3.3.3-1 and it is SLOWW (tryed emailing the people that wrote it but no reply)
I have tryed all the old tricks but nothing works in a 800 600 res it defualts to "no acc" in the additional options and the monitor settings for his screw up all the time anybidy have an Xconfig file or can tell me why

and yes it was the first computer and the US did not help but where helped by it

basicaly Quake 3 will be hardware only john (carmack) said so. So why are people complaining about hardware the basics are this:
: linux mac and windows all on one disk most of the disk is graphics and sound anyway no need to reproduce this!
: you HAVE to have one of the surported cards (AARRRGHHHH)
: the card surport in linux will be 3DFX only to start with
OK thats it folks and if you want proper graphics get a SGI OK (a real openGL implementation)
