Maybe just maybe that they could cut the costs of most college classes as your paying largely for teacher interaction ( which I received little or needed little ). Class space ( Teleconferencing is much more reliable now than when I went to school ) Lab Space / Materials ( This cannot be cut back and actually should be boosted ) The most beneficial thing I received from my degree was the connections I made with other students. Basically what I'm saying is why does a degree in economics / business cost even close to the same as a person studying to be a molecular biologist / robotics engineer / etc that has to have some serious expenses.
4x the caffeine and fused with crazy to create the Nuclear Fusion Cocktail blend. Side effects are mild hallucinations, delusions of grandeur, and inflated ego.
Also on a side note what is the most expensive software out there so I can stick it on each of my computers to do my share to screw up our economy even more.
My software has a piracy loss of over 100 Billion dollars alone. It is software written to make sure that some stock trading idiot is triple checked to make sure that the sale is for millions not billions. The only problem is I charge 100 Billion dollars for each software license which is only valid for 24 hours. I know someone out there is using my software illegally so that amounts to 100 billion in piracy per hour per day per year. If I could just force people to buy my software I could afford to let you all work for me or starve to death. Your choice. Also I would rename every country and continent to my name. I might even buy out the entire planet to rent it to you poor bastards.
If your going to do the crime youve gotta be willing to do the time. Book her Danno.
It's nice to know that they still find new ways to make children afraid and paranoid of authority figures. I think they should enact a 10-20-life policy for kids who get caught with multiple jolly ranchers with intention to distribute or consume. If they get caught with paraphernalia (candy wrappers) they should be fined, given 5 days detention, and put on probation.
Isn't it also a law where if you get caught dealing on school property the sentence is doubled?
I think the best part is they spend more time and money trying to ensure that less people are able to use their product. Where most of us spend more time and money to lower the overall cost of our product so that we can distribute it to a higher number of people. Must be nice to have a set price that people are willing to pay for a product and just worry about the people who given the option should I spend $20 on a video or save it for something else I need. Seriously if there are close to 6 billion people out there and you have a video like Avatar where practically everyone would watch it but you charge 20-30$ for it you could have 4x the viewers if you charged 5-8$ and they might be inclined to see the sequel. I know this will rub the cost of distribution, marketing, etc people the wrong way but seriously if you have a product that can be distributed over the internet with minimal overhead until the person purchases it then why not try lowering the price until you notice your profit margin slim to within 5%. I know Disney would roll over in his grave where they do the reverse by pulling their product for a extended period of time until the demand comes back for their product.
Well with a population pool as large as ours you would think finding a few thousand who represent the best in leadership, ethics, and morality would be fairly easy.
I personally cannot tell what a politician really is like behind closed doors.
But if you ask me very few truly represent what I would consider worthy of their position. But you just don't know for certain until they screw up or their true character comes out.
If you ask me what we need to do is just record all of their conversations and make the ones that don't involve national security public after a year or so.
Would give us a good insight to the political process as well as the parties involved. And would seem to have the possibility of keeping them honest.
Well the way I look at it is like this. I used to say there is no where I would rather live than America. Now other places are starting to look more and more inviting. It isn't because of the people, work, education, money, healthcare. It is because of corruption, greed, politics, and law.
Without freedom America is just a chunk of dirt. I know my capabilities and I'm not the right person to help the situation or to really say I could do it better. I just know a train wreck coming when I see it.
Very true but video tutorials and a knowledge base go a long way to helping ease various issues that arise from untrained staff. If management doesn't want to spend time and money seeing that it's staff is trained or knowledgeable in those issues then they should expect more issues.
What I do is I provide basic and advanced training manuals in the break rooms for staff to read while they are eating or bored. It doesn't help much but it helps a little bit.
So does the virus have a once a day down time, once a pay period, or once a lifetime for that one vacation day to kick in? I personally would opt for a virus on my computer once every Mon, Wed, Thur.
We have graphs and reports that we turn into management.
It shows bandwidth used by the user, high data conversations to domains. It easily shows people downloading porn, browsing youtube, streaming audio etc.
Then it becomes a management decision to impose restrictions or disciplinary actions.
If the person is smart enough to run everything through a proxy that just waves a I'm hiding something flag.
Don't these guys know the whole point of working for the GOV is to be LAZY & CORRUPT. Instead of using porn for personal use they should have been Moonlighting by using the gov internet to host and distribute their own porn creations. That way they could be paid for looking at porn, distributing porn, and be lazy at the same time.
This just goes to show how inefficient government workers can be at slacking off and being corrupt.
Wow if im a 2bit hack wtf does that make you? This just proves how big of a dumbass you are.
Interpolated images introduces Aliasing, blurring, and edge halo. Which if that is what you want to do basically degrade the quality of your images so that you can have nice sharp text than go for it. I think it looks terrible to see sharp text and fuzzy images on the same page. But I'm just a 2bit hack.
Screen Size 42 in (1,066.8 mm)
Display Res 1920×1080
# of Pixels 2073600
Ratio 16:9
Pixels Per Inch 52
Type television, 1080i, 1080p
Now if we were to say this screen was capable of 200 PPI or DPI it would in effect have 4X the resolution.
Sure you could modify the dpi of the image to tell it to cover more inches with the same number of pixels, but that doesn't use the full potential of a high PPI/DPI monitor. You would in effect be using the benefit for only text/vector graphics. The major users of high DPI displays need use it for HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGES.
BTW
Model Diagonal Pixels PPI Google Nexus One 3.7" 480×800 252*
With high resolution comes high download times. I'm on a 46" 1920x1080 hdtv for a monitor. And I have a dual screen set to 1024x768 just so I can see what the Gen Pop uses and I have to design for. I rarely make a website that isnt fixed to 1024x768 screens. When you add in trying to make your site look the same in IE 9, 8, 7, 6; Firefox, Safari, Opera, Iphone, Android, and print well that is a lot of work. Add in the fact that some users can browse at 2048x1536 or god knows what resolution now it honestly isnt cost effective to overdevelop a site for most people just trying to make a dollar.
That is not necessarily true. Smaller companies starting out sometimes get forced out of the business by cut throat practices, forced buyouts, etc. Usually the company that does the "Right" thing ends up on the short end of profits and gets forced out. Now if a company is both good and profitable that just means they are vastly superior to their competitors.
I dunno I see your point but I think when the young generation is grown up there will be no jobs because the older gen ran the global economy into the ground.
Tiger woods for example. A lot of famous people cheat. But when you get caught that is when the sponsors start pulling you and you end up loosing millions of revenue. Same thing for the average person just on a smaller scale.
Now when you start going to apply for jobs and the employer looks on your facebook page and see's your a freaky kinda guy you might end up at the bottom of the pile.
If they are resolving it, but just not as fast as you like that is one thing. If they are choosing to look the other way that is another and that will not work in the long run. I think 3-5 weeks is a reasonable amount of time given the often complex nature of the problem. How long do you think it takes the bank to recover or catch the parties involved? Do they often recover the lost money?
Personally I would like it if I had a remote that I press that allows my debit card to be used for the next half hour and only when it is activated. Hard currency is on its way out of style so whoever designs the next big sec measure for debit will be laughing to the bank.

Most of my work falls into this arrangement of time:
60% Prep
20% Execution
20% Perfecting
I always spend more time in preparation than execution.
Preparation: Studying, Idea phase, collab, ect.
Execution: Actual work
Perfecting / Cleanup / Documentation / QA: the last mile
