The problems are that sometimes, I'll leave a webpage up for a day or two in a separate tab because I want to come back to dig deeper into something, but don't want to create a longer lived bookmark. Sometimes, I see a CPU getting chewed up by the browser and I had assumed up to this point it was a bug in the browser or accidental looping javascript error, and I have to start killing off tabs until I find the offending page. Probably miners all along.
The problem is that the advertisers are only tied into the search data.. not the purchase data. They don't know you actually made the purchase already. It's cheap enough for them to take the gamble and blast everybody with their search history.
Our company has moved to "thin" windows clients where you just remote into a virtual desktop. Just like the old X clients back in the day. We are also moving to Office 365 so you can use it from Linux desktop. I think MS pushing Office in the cloud will backfire big time. Since Windows 8 came out I went Linux only on all my personal computers, not even dual boot.
Our company's starting salary for programmers is over $60 (straight out of college). I'm pretty sure everybody I work with is well over 6 figures. We have offices in Chicago and Dallas. In fact, as of a few years ago the minimum salary for a lead developer was $95k.
Every SciFi movie I've seen has some sort of robot or artificial intelligence interface, especially on every spaceship.
What's not to like about it? I got one as a gift and use it for some generic stuff, what's the weather, set a timer, add an item to my shopping list. I find it very good at understanding me, even for groceries. I like it. NSA wet dream? Probably. I'll disconnect it if I have have the ISIS weekly meeting at my house.
"Researcher".... downloaded 205GB of data? Agreed, they should be arrested. I can see downloading 1 or 2 files and getting a listing or something, but 205GB is well beyond documenting a vulnerability.
It's not the the home builder, it's the 'buzz' it creates. If these CPU's work that well, the builders will tell their friends and family to go to BestBuy and pick up a Ryzen. I basically tell all of my extended family what to purchase if not actually build it for them.
I've never seen this 'tip' fee you are referring to. However, the 'free 1 day delivery' only applies if you have at least $35 in total items that are all eligible for free 1 day delivery. Otherwise, 1 day delivery does have a fee which depends on a few different factors, but I've seen this fee from $3 up to $20 or more. I never do it however, because I usually have something on my wishlist that qualifies that I'll add in, or I'll default back to the 2 day shipping.
Soon as he registered the backup domain... 400 computers connected to report. Machine should be logging IP connections in general, perhaps daily counts, in particular, failed connections.
I must admit I'm a contributor to the problem. I don't carry any balances on cards, and I will periodically get a new card that offers mile bonuses. Between me and my wife we've earned/been given over 700K airline miles. We can booking flights for 20K or less miles/each way, so we've had over 35 free flights around the US. We frequently get flights for 12.5K miles, so it's probably a lot more than that (I don't actually keep track).
Thanks to all you people that carry a balance to make this possible.
I've bought tons of stuff over the years from ebay, from small solar panels and electronics from China, to parts for my refrigerator or dishwasher. I've NEVER had a problem. Maybe I'm the luckiest guy on the web... who knows.

No thanks, I don't want to live in China.

Check the CPU load?
How many of those people were just checking out what actually changed prices? Let me know those numbers again in a few months, then I'll be impressed.

WannaCry now?
Google has waded into an ongoing war... I'm pretty sure they've now lost more than now anyway.

My first guess was 'E-Puke'
Best Buy was catch giving fake online prices when using their in-store kiosks to lookup prices on bestbuy.com
Sort of like these sites... Pay for each bid... everybody loses, as even the winner will often end up paying more than product value.

The question should be, "Which is the best VPN service to use?"
How do you get your iodine requirements? It's basically only available in processed table salt.
Personally, I take kelp supplements.
