If you take a zero sum view of world economics it makes sense. If I take the viewpoint of the devil taking someone soul makes sense too. I can't see any reason culturally or ethically why our nation wouldn't behave this way. Disaggreable but true.
Yeah, let north korea or pakistan develop it. Just because we don't pursue something doesn't mean it wont get created. You think the world revolves around the US?
BTW what would your buddy al whore have done after 911? He would of sent a focus group to afghanistan to help Osama find his inner child.

Heat begets heat... Because of localized heating, you have to run higher voltages (to overcome resistance) which creates more heat... Using diamond will actually decrease voltages and heat.
Law enforcement can use radio wave triangulation to find a cb radio. You cell phone is doing the same thing. When you are using a cellphone you are broadcasting your position..Don't like it? Dont use your cellphone.
What's significant is that these companies have survived one of the worst tech retractions in memory. Not to mention that AMD was selling old non-competitive technology. I think at this point there is no where to go but up.
I get a four pack of nimhydride aa for 10$ a pack. At that price i could get my money back from two uses. They also hold more amphours than a regular alkaline. One downside is they lose their charge, so not good for something like a fire alarm.
I think that maybe this guy has a myopic viewpoint because he knows alot about stuff working. Maybe he should spend more time documenting all the failures and things that didn't work (like robots doing everything won't). I am sure that they far outnumber the ideas that worked.
All your beowulf clusters belong to us.....
Anyone that would be fooled by this type of marketing probably cannot differentiate between the products regardless.
I was pretty proud of myself, i set the clock on my vcr. Too bad a blown lightbulb tripped the circuit breaker. Now its flashing 12:00 again.
It's called the automobile.....
I will get a cell phone. Not all tech people are obsessed with this crap.
Because of its isolation and the army bases spam is a very popular food.. There are many recipes for using spam that are popular on the islands.
You'll never see it because it will canniblize all those 15$ phone lines people have for their modems.

It makes sense to gobble up all the easy energy before the other countries do, and that is precisely what the US is doing.
In fact, .Net is largely the latest kludge slapped on top of COM/DCOM to try and hide it's hideous complexity.
.net has nothing to do with dcom/com, other than provide a wrapper that can be used with old components.
You have to be kidding me--
Pressure only speeds up chemical reactions.

So this is why vegans are so brain-dead?
It amazes me that a such a company would have such lax security as to allow an insider to browse supposedly private data at will.

Might be worth it for a small business or educational institution.

So what do you think Microsoft should of done to increase the value of their server offerings?
Ok, the airplane example was interesting, but I don't think that we are any closer to traveling at relativistic speeds than we were 100 years ago.

Why does the headline claim 'all' and the article claim half?
