    High blood sugar causes high blood pressure too for the same reasons, but the AMA recommendations to eat lots of grains and starches still stands...

    Just reading through the lines of the article, it sounds like she didn't even report any of the sexual harassment incidents.

    Yeah I can't imagine working like this either. I've always been lucky enough to have managers that you could rate 'passable' or better.

    A lot if business culture was borrowed from the military and there were a lot of vets from WW2, so a military style tongue-lashing made more sense then.

    Sorry but this is probably just the culture there. If I had an okay but 'broey' guy or gal in a interview I would probably pass and wait for a normal person.

    It's not ridiculous to question why someone would do something so egregious. I've never seen a case where someone physically assaulted a coworker in 25 + years of work.

    While I do agree the fact that he was fired is significant, you have to wonder what kind of culture is at the company where he thought this was something he could get away with.

    Been an apple hater for a while but think I might go for SE... I like small bricky phones and everything else out there looks like junk. At 200$ it is even reasonably priced.

    Remember all the drag and drop GUI tools that were supposed to do this? Turns out it's easier just to code it.

    If you are running a single GPU the PCIe count has minimal effect on performance for even the highest performing cards. It will start to choke if you are running SLI. (currently gaming on an old 950 PC)

    There is hardly any difference on a per core basis between any intel chips for the last two or three years.
