Don't even compare the two. HBO can make 'halo' offerings like GOT because they have decades of experience doing it. If you throw money at the problem you end up with barely watchable second-tier stuff like netflix which is the best apple can hope to do.

There was a guy that figured out how to gang magnetrons and create a coherent beam out of the output. Curiously all mention of this seems to have disappeared from the internet- I read about it about 10 years ago.
It's not unreasonable to assume that with advances in computation and optics we can push this detection window out a lot further. Just a matter of will and funding....

Actually spent last 7 years desert racing (motorcycle) so I am pretty well acclimated to 'real' movement. The sickness seems to come from a disconnect of visual experience vs other sensory inputs.

I would assume too that the smaller displacement diesels in cars are in a higher state of tune and run hotter.
