Exactly. As I do agree that a $1 credit is not enough, people need to read the article to find out what is really going on. Viacom and MTV are wanting a 40% increase in fees, which, is ridiculous. I'm a Dishnetwork customer and have been for 6 years. Dish is still a better service than DTV.
I am, however, going to write to Dish to voice my opinion about the $1 credit. It should be more.
I've read a bunch of posts comparing this "possible" hole in OpenBSD to those in MS. There's NO comparison! I bet Theo and the OpenBSD developers are already working on a fix. Actually, they probably already have one. With MS, it takes much, much longer! And sometimes, the "fixes" that MS so-called developers come up with break something else.
"The operating systems running on Spirit and Opportunity are based on a flexible commercial platform initially chosen by JPL engineers for its reliability."
What platform? I wish they would state what it is.......
I just don't agree with the article. I have the latest versions of Knoppix and MEPIS. For me, MEPIS is far more responsive and useable than Knoppix. Plus, when you do a hard drive install of both, there are apps in Knoppix that don't work. I haven't had that problem with MEPIS.
Right on!
Martin was "funny" on the TSS but his new show just plain sucks. I tried to sit through a whole episode once. Wow! That was rough.......
Exactly!
I agree. South Park is not fresh. Frankly, it's no longer funny.
I agree. I have no problem paying for something like this. Maybe different levels of subscription services?
Absolutely!
If you don't like the way things are running, currently, then donate time or money to help make it better. Just stop complaining!
The site seems to be running just fine from my end. Are you sure it isn't a problem with your hardware?
We use this distro all the time at work. The L.A.S. group knows security.
I think this is a good thing. I really liked Leo when the show first started years back but, lately, he's become really annoying.
Wow! Couldn't have said it any better.......
I agree! The EU did exactly what was needed. And our government stating that the ruling was "unfortunate" is, well, unfortunate.
Let this be a lesson to MS, not every government can be bought.
All I can say is, WOW! Darl has completely lost his mind!
Also, email the site that has the intruding ad and tell them that you don't like it and won't visit their site until they're gone.
Exactly! I've never even viewed one of these "commercials". Of course, I'm running Mozilla under Linux and FreeBSD......

That doesn't mean he's "nuts".
What the hell does his age have to do with being interviewed?
Why was this guy scored as a troll???? The post is absolutely correct. Are these things ever going to take off? Doubt it.
"Australia to implement American-style DMCA copyright laws"
:-(
Sorry, Australians. As an American, you have my deepest apology........seriously.

It doesn't look like they've gained any future support.
Ben,
That really is a nice article. Nice layout of the website, as well.
Good job!
What the hell does that have to do with the way Mandrake develops its distribution?
You hit that one right on the head!
Thank you! I agree completely!!!!
