I seem to remember many, many, many other sites not working well for a couple of days after some sort of announcement on Slashdot. Are the Yoper folks supposed to read minds?

If Americans want greater freedom, we need to start looking at alternative fuel sources. We don't need to hurt the environment any more than we already have. If we develop alternative fuel sources, we can then stay out of the middle east.
I gree completely! Gnome 2.6 has worked very well for myself and my co-workers. FC2 is now our distro of choice at work (and trust me, we've really put it to the test). We use it for everything, from getting email, to daily work chores, and for running all of our security tools.
What the hell is the author's problem with Gnome 2.6? So far, it's worked very well for me and my co-workers. Fedora Core 2 has now become our distro of choice at work (and we have really put it to the test).
And the author's use of animals in his examples is VERY disturbing! The author needs to remove Linux from his machines and reinstall Windoze. Personally, I don't want the author in our community.
Unfortunately, we have some CC radio stations here in Indy. I've already made the conscious choice not listen to any of them. We have some very good independent stations here that are much better, anyway.

Releases are coming out too fast. Read the release schedule. FC3 isn't due out until 18 October. This is just a test release.

OpenBSD will NEVER switch to a development model similar to Linux. I'm absolutely positive of this......

If it's their hosting company, then they need to switch to an all Linux hosting company. There's a lot of them out there.
