i am all for it, no more namby-pamby mollycoddling!! evolution got us into this , it damn well can get us out!! p.s. also, no sanitizers for the helicopter parents. remember, god keeps his own!
yes-got it nov. 1, played ~35 hrs. this past week while on vacation, finished it saturday. great game of dungeon crawler type. not much story, but cool effects. frankly, i haven't played a game straight through in many years. this was like diablo 1 , diablo 2, sacred, and WoW had an orgy, and torchlight was the unlikely off-spring. totally addictive!!
for great spicy- try tabasco brand habanero sauce. may be harder to find but it is great. i go through a bottle every couple days. i believe it is about the same price, for the same size bottles. hard to eat a LOT of any food when doused with this!!
i am doing my best to bring up these rates. everything on all my computers is pirated, except for things like firefox and the here and there free source material. i copy and burn DVDs, burn music downloads, play games... all using pirated software or being pirated software. also no problems with virus or malware infections. i do know how to check for and prevent that. my comps run unhindered and nothing but my torrents use the bandwidth. last software that was purchased was a copy of XP for my first build. that was 6 years ago.soon after that, it was off to the races! of course, having said that, almost none of what i use would have been purchased even if i had the money. i don't know where that puts me in the BSA scale of things. i have never sold copies, just given away some. at least i am honest about what i do, not that what i do is honest!
seems they are using the Barbie business model. a basic price for the doll and a few accessories. then make available for extra charge all kinds of cool add-on items/materials. pretty soon the Barbie-buyer has sunk 10 times or more of the original doll price into more stuff. hell, they could spend 100 times as much, i think.this is the "nickel and dime" approach.games producers are slowly moving this way for added revenue. you don't need the extra DLC to run through the game, but many will buy it to add to their experience. for myself, i don't care to spend for the extra stuff. the game should stand alone as playable.
usually the singer schmoozes with fans, the girls talk to the guitar player, the bass player puts away the amps with his girlfriend, and the drummer gets tp spend a half-hour packing up his kit while everyone else gets some drinks. i was the drummer!! by the time i was done, it was time to load out, and the guitar player had scored, the bass player had left with his girlfriend, the singer was drunk, and lucky me had help loading from those weird drummer wannabes. oh yeah, some real good times!
damn, i wish i could do it again....
i wish i knew the answer. i am american and i wish fervently for socialized single payer (government) health care. all i want is to be able to get checkups and normal procedures. i no longer can afford health insurance, and am unable to get better pay or benefits that would cover it. i only see general good outcome to socializing health care. why many americans are so afraid of the "socialism" aspect is beyond me. isn't universal access to health care a good thing to have? i suspect holdover fears from cold-war era myths. i only look at some european socialized systems and sigh longingly. if i had skills useful there, i would move there.
how about gwi.net? they are based in maine and offer internet(DSL) and phone.i have them for internet and never a problem. however, since i am over the border in new hampshire, i can't get their phone service. so i am stuck with fairpoint. wish i could get gwi.net for phone,,,sigh!!
when was this? i am a few miles down the road, WTF why not i go do some experimenting...i am also an alumnus, but back then there wasn't even the internet. my, how time flies, and things change!!
China will eventually become the most powerful nation on Earth economically, if not in total. best to just do right as your belief system indicates. me, i'm too old for this. i'll be long dead before their hegemony truly becomes fact, and frankly, you are all on your own!!
someone put it there to begin with. are there stealth ninja line crews/ backhoe operators? if so, their creds need to be revoked or pulled!! maybe its like the mob-- have them install it, then make them "disappear". color me flabbergasted that the gov. screwed up!!
Kudos! i am also a Good Eats fan, and have learned a lot of cooking and non-cooking stuff that has helped me. and i am a line-cook with 30 years of practice! you never know where you are going to get great ideas! Alton Brown is definitely a foodie-geek. i wish there were more like him!
"such as Linux, Mac and Windows."
whoa, let's not get crazy, if everyone was tolerant of each others OS, i wouldn't get half the entertainment that i do from this place!!
was one trying to get the drop on the other, playing submarine-style stealth tag? maybe a sub commander trying to see how well he can track another sub without being detected, and the other doing a random "Crazy Ivan" style maneuver? i believe such things have happened before.
i have been using his guides for about 4 years, and did notice an appreciable gain in performance. that was for XP, and on several machines built solely for gaming, nothing else. he may seem a bit off, but this IS slashdot, so would fit in well with the present company! having said that, i have not tried his Vista tips (no Vista for me). i was one of the ones who was worried went he went "missing" for more than a year. (thanks to all the mirrors). yes, this is offtopic, but thought i should contribute my one cent. (can't afford two cents)!
there is a movie in there somewhere, jump on it quick before uwe boll does!!!
i recently tried some, albeit dried. definitely very hot, but strangely and pleasantly having an almost sausage type flavor. quite nice!!

i stand in awe!! wish i had some mod (freakin' hilarious) points for you. a tip of the hat!

i OWN a PT Cruiser, you insensitive clod!! (i really do, and love it).
His review must have been fair and balanced... probably more accurate regarding Fox
as i have often referred to this game...Wrath of the Wallet-Leech King!! no leeches for my wallet, thank you very much.
