    It could mean whatever you want it to mean, since it was not specified. For example, it could mean "least hassle to understand by future maintainers of your code" in which case code legibility may trump execution time or memory usage.

    Sounds like someone that has a complete lack of respect for the law in general. "We don't agree with the law, we don't want you trying to enforce the law on us, and we're going to fight it even though it's law."

    Individuals fight unjust laws to protect their freedoms. Corporations fight unjust laws to protect their profits. (Not that I'm saying this particular law is just or unjust. Just saying.)

    The more customers who get blown up, the more you have to raise your rates to compensate for loss of future revenue. This isn't even taking into account raising rates to cover repairing destroyed infrastructure.

    But, anyway, this approach quickly runs into a branching factor issue. How do you present an interface that lets you pick between all possible semantic uses of a given typeface style? Species, court case, book/magazine/story/movie, poem, ship name, emphasis, foreign word, mathematical symbol, character's internal thought process, literal representation of a word, introduction of jargon... I'm probably missing a few thousand, although that's all Wikipedia lists.

    Simple: show the most likely semantic uses first (based on the section the page resides in), with a "More..." link to bring up an alphabetized and/or hierarchical list of all options.
