    I'm thinking that the liberal backlash against Trump pulling out of the climate agreement will cause local governments and corporations to do more to become energy efficient than they would have otherwise. Therefore his action will be a net positive. Even if energy efficiency improvements / CO2 reductions don't produce positive climate change, it will help us move toward energy self sufficiency.

    The Mayflower had 25-30 crew and 102 passengers. Only 49 were what we now call Pilgrims. There also were 12 servants belonging to the pilgrims. The remaining passengers were recruited by a group known as London Merchant Adventurers, including 6 servants.

    The statute was signed by President Truman - a democrat. Obama signed a similar order to Trump except it was for a longer period of time and gave more advanced warning. The vetting process was actually improved during that time. The President clearly has the authority although in this case it was likely not really needed. The bigger issue is people entering on temporary visa and never leaving.

    The approval polls are by the same media outlets that falsely claimed Clinton would win in a landslide so I wouldn't put too much faith in their accuracy.

    The Immaculate Conception actually refers to Mary, not Jesus. The belief goes that Mary was absolved of 'original sin' by God so that later when she bore Jesus she would have a clean soul. This belief started in the 12th century and became official Catholic doctrine in 1854. The belief that Mary was a virgin when she became pregnant is the Doctrine of Incarnation.

    I was also born in 1960.
    Those birth certificates with hand and foot prints are issued by the hospital. They are just a souvenir, not the official birth certificated file with the state.

    I checked the US Census and as of 2010 there are 3,853 people with the last name Winner. The most babies named Reality in one year has been 17. I'm going to guess she is the only one with that combination.

    Price controls would be needed to implement single payer. Knowing that 100% of your customers have insurance that pays 100% of the cost of medications is a green light for this type of price gouging.
