  18. A bit expensive but I have been very happy with mine. The phone function works great in the car (better than my cars hands free) and I use it all day to check email and texts. I have a face customized so I can see local date and time as well as the time back home along with the temperature. Would be nice if the battery lasted longer; I can usually have to put it on the charger every other night so not too bad. Easy switching of straps is a nice feature and plenty of straps available now on eBay and Amazon at reasonable prices.

  19. I had a Pebble Kickstarter edition. It sucked. Software / functionality was buggy and not as promised (I am an iPhone user). I sold it on eBay. Apple came out with a far superior product that works as advertised that I am very happy with. This is what happens when a company cannot keep up. It has nothing to do with the size of the market, everything to do with the product they offered.

Thanks for hijacking this thread with an offtopic anti-theist thread that goes on forever. I'd like to discuss the fucking article if you fake nerds don't mind.

This is something I've argued for a long time: WE DON'T KNOW WHAT THE CONDITIONS NECESSARY FOR LIFE ARE. I'm agnostic on the subject. As far as we know the universe could be teeming with life, but in our galaxy we're the only one. It's possible that, as this guys simulations show, this is the universe's only life.

People THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SUBJECT AND EVERY FUCKING ONE OF YOUR RELIGIOUS COMMENTS ARE OFF TOPIC. This has nothing whatever to do with religion.

So the camera at the haircut place logged into your email account?

This kind of stuff is sold as plug and play, security is an afterthought if it's considered at all. The people who deploy these setups don't know or don't care either. They assume if they're paying hundreds of dollars for something it must be good.

My local franchise haircut place has free wifi. After visiting once, I saw an unrecognized IP come up on GMail as recently logging in my account. Had no idea who it was, checked ARIN, allocated to Time Warner. So my next instinct was to try the IP in my browser. Up pops a camera/recorder interface. A quick trip to google to find the default password, sure enough, it's a viewport to all the security cams in the haircut place. At least now I can check if there's any line or waiting before I go over there.
