    I want techs extending into the science fiction future. That would just be so cool. It feels kind of silly that the greatest weapon on earth is... a 40 hit point armored tank.

    That was the best aspect of Call to Power, IMO. The gameplay doesn't end until 3000CE.

    Actually, my first experience with Dvorak was quite painful, with my hands cramping a lot. I believe this is because you have to fight your own muscle memory to relearn the key placement.

    Many people are claiming to have reached their QWERTY typing speed after just 2 weeks with Dvorak? I call BS... I don't think I reached my QWERTY speed until I had spent 6 months with Dvorak. Nor am I capable of touch-typing on QWERTY any longer... it's hunt and peck on QWERTY for me!

    Actually, it just looks like a default KDE desktop. I've seen the Chinese Linux that emulates the look of XP, and someone spent a lot of time on that copying the appearance down to the small details. This, on the other hand, isn't very customized.

    The bills in your wallet have no intrinsic value as physical objects. Their usefulness lies wholly in the fact that they represent a value you can trade for a good that does have intrinsic value, like food.

    You would say you still have the physical object, but you have to understand the object itself isn't of use. It's real value is intangible, and that has been taken from you.

    I'd like to know why they have refused to host the sourcecode somewhere other than Rapidshare. Free downloads are not allowed from that site for something like 16 hours a day...

    I have no problem with using a filehost site for the source, but they should use one that is friendly for free downloaders like Megaupload or Mediafire.

    other words, this ONLY effects games with online components, like trophies

    All PS3 games released since January 2009 have had mandatory trophy support... I would assume the games most people are currently playing fall in that group.

    I assume the idea of swearing/cussing comes from the biblical injunction "not to take the lord's name in vain". How exactly that was twisted into covering all these other terms which are not obviously related to the lord's name is unknown to me.

    DVORAK

    Dvorak isn't named for a segment of the keyboard layout like QWERTY, but for it's inventor. If you want to name the layout by those same (shifted) key positions, you would call it the "PYF layout
