From New York to Germany, politicians are proposing shutting-down nuclear plants.
I wonder, what would those clueless politicians say if, instead of Tsunami, Japan was hit by a meteor?
Better not to tell them about "Laws of Gravity", or they might appeal to change them.
Shit is bound to happen to our world from time to time, in form of earthquakes, tsunamis, meteors, no matter what we do, and most of the time we can't do anything to prevent it - only minimize the consequences, and you can't say that Japanese didn't do everything in their effort to minimize radiation leaking.
That's why I'm going to wait another 6 months or so until buying it, when they release some kind of "Ultimate Edition" with all the million DLC's that's going to be released in the meantime, and for half the original price.
With all the discounts on Steam, who would want to pay $60 for a game? I have yet to START playing The Witcher which I purchased more than two months ago.
Also, I think that there's plently of good advices on game forums and that game developers would prove to be very stubborn not to listen them.
Also, differentiating good and bad advices shouldn't be that much of a problem. Of course you'll drive yourself mad if you try to follow advices like "I want the World of Warcraft to be more like CounterStrike", but by reading game forums you'll also find many creative advices which will not only improve your game, but also save you a lot of time and thinking.
The founding fathers wanted separation of church and state, but that doesn't mean they were atheists. They were more like "normal", average Christians.
OP has a point, really. I've heard about someone hitting a tree because they were texting while walking, and then they sued the local authorities.
You think stupid lawsuits only happen in the USA?
To describe it differently, authorities are now having a "lulz".
You call Battleship? Yeah, I takes nothing less to beat those obnoxious hackers.
I thought that too when reading the summary, but then I asked myself: "What genre Diablo is, if not adventure?" Becasue it certainly ain't RPG.

Sony should die in a fire.
Surprising? No, we all know that fags love Macs.
Excellent, now I have one less reason to buy Dragon Age 2 (which puts it at -1 reasons), or any other game from EA or BioWare.
Pedobear would approve this app.
The use of encrypting the login is that the passwords are save from being sniffed. Too many people use the same password for multiple sites.
Unfortunately, too many sites store passwords in unencrypted form. Do you remember Gawker scandal a couple of months ago?
Motorola forgot to add a random value to the signature in order to mask the private key.
Forgot? Or didn't want to?

Amusing for a few seconds
...but no more than that.

If you have a site with Google Analytics on it, you might notice that a plenty of people come to your site from Google search of your site's URL.
...and bare foot.
Well 26 of them do.
I watched that movie too, one of the best political satires I've seen (but nothing beats Dr. Strangelove of course).
A lot of Steam games use the same thing too.
Or somebody eventually told them that average Slashdot user knows how to disable HTTP referrers.
Any reason why the secure site wouldn't work for this?
FTA: The code only targeted users accessing HTTP sites instead of HTTPS
Also, HTTPS-Everywhere is your friend (breaks the chat on Facebook for me though).

Watch out for Star Wars though. That one could be taken down from Amazon anytime now.
Good, now I know I will NEVER buy a book, Kindle or any other product from them...and I suppose I'm not the only one.
