...As is always joked, there are tougher requirements on having a beer or driving a car than there are on becoming a parent.
I still find it funny that to teach said children, teachers have to go through a complete FBI background check, but you just have to have an oopsie to become a parent.
Here I though the point to sarcasm was that if you didn't get it, it made it all the more funny to those that did get it. Adding a sarcasm mark is like telling the punchline in the same sentence as the joke, it takes all the fun out...
I'll second that. To continue selling it needs to be 'connectable' to modern equipment. My first-version mouse doesn't have USB which makes it near useless in a modern setup. Serial just doesn't cut it with a lot of computers.
So you're telling me that since you pay the tolls on a toll road, you're allowed to take a NASCAR stock car on said road, which may look exactly like a regular car, (I know not really, but close enough for this analogy) but is modded to "improve performance"?
Or since you pay for the SAT/ACT/whatever college test you take/took/etc, you should be allowed to bring a calculator "modded" to allow it to cheat on the test in some way? Hey, you paid for it, right?
What I find really scary is the stories I've seen of grade-school kids being required to submit their report as a powerpoint presentation....
(sorry, no link, but I'm not kidding)
In the school system I work at, their idea of computer proficiency by 5th grade is basically knowing how to make a PowerPoint...and believe me, they are mostly just a bunch of pretty pictures, with a few (badly written and spelled) sentence fragments added to show they can write. They are more worried about them being able to take the online quarterly tests than actually know how to use the computers.
I kept wep on my router longer than I should have because I just liked playing Mario Kart just that much. I lost my dslite and thought to buy the new model, but it still doesn't support wpa, just wep. I decided I wasn't going to switch back just for one game, and opted instead to buy nothing. Maybe I'll get the new one if it can do wpa, but if not, no sale.
the DSi does support WPA, it's in the advanced options.
As another possible alternative, something like Canson's Papershow (http://www.papershow.com) might be worth trying: Doesn't have a Mac version yet, but is a nice way to actually write things, and have them saved to the comuter.

...what's that, you want Poland(or some other closer country)? sure, you can have Poland, if you promise to stop there...
Also remember that in some states it is illegal to use the remote starter outside of your property. http://blog.timesunion.com/readandreact/108/leaving-a-car-unattended-gets-you-a-ticket/
OK fine, DB9 serial

If you want to get technical, Half-life 2 was just a rehash of Half-life 1, which was a rehash of Quake, which was a rehash of Doom...
...which was a rehash of Wolfenstein 3D...
...Good to see where his tuition is going. Unless they have a "Beat old games class" at that school...
I was going to say 2600, but that works too...
...dun dun duuuuuuunnnnnn... (cheesy cliffhanger music)
...I can understand the link, but why would I want to GZIP my gold?
Ebeneezer, is that you?
Well, better late than never...
Spaceballs: The Slashdot Thread
Maybe during the day. But the pesky lack of headlights and taillights may hinder night driving a bit...
I paid them money?

Malware can exist for any platform.
Damit! I knew there was a reason it took so long to get to the login screen on my sliderule!
Aha! the old sharpie-to-the-sliderule trick strikes again!
an unstoppable cannon ball hits and unbreakable wall?
You would now have an unbreakable (and possibly unstoppable) wall flying in front of the unstoppable cannon ball.
You didn't think that one through, did you.
So what if it is immovable?
