If you have the kind of money to throw away on a Hummer, you can afford your own buggy and driver, preferably a driver who's female and drives around in her underwear. What is WITH the Americans anyway?
Any plans to rerun the miniseries so that those of us that missed out can get the backstory? Inquiring Tivos want to know!
- Humans are doing what humans usually do - Along come the bad, yet sexy, aliens to mung things up - Starbuck has a sex-change - Humans run from aliens, being chased across the galaxy in a rag-tag fugitive fleet of starships searching for Earth
Wake up. Unfortunately, the presidential election this season is essentially a referendum on the Bush administration's policy of preemptive war and encroachment of religion into all aspects of government. If you do not vote against these policies you are essentially voting for them. Yes, it sucks and that won't change until reforms occur in our electoral process but if you don't understand the gravity of those two issues, then perhaps you should examine closely the publicly stated agendas of both sides (the two 'major' parties) and the easily exrapolated consequences of those policies.
I do know where you are coming from with the "evil is still evil" rhetoric. I've voted in three previous presidential elections - never for a Republican or Democrat. There is this time, however, something more at stake than making a statement about the political system by choosing a 'third-party' candidate.
Not trying to convince you of anything other than the fact that not everyone who chooses to take sides between the 'two evils' this time around are a bunch of sheep. Some of us understand that we may have to clench our jaws and bear the pain of voting against someone instead of for someone this time around. (I thank those apathetic citizens who didn't vote last time for this mess.)
Actually, offering a several-hundred megabyte install file for download does cut down on the packaging costs but not so for distribution as bandwidth isn't free usually.
Oh come now. The democrats pass out literature in illegal alien drenched areas informing them that, EVEN THOUGH IT IS AGAINST THE LAW, they can work around it and go to polling stations to get their democratic vote in.
Do you have any references for this? If so, please share and I'll gladly do the same for all of the Republican voting shenanigans going on.
It's not about good versus evil or legal versus illegal. As a matter of fact I wasn't aware of anyone arguing n-shoring is illegal.
It is, however, about this and other related issues: the government, whose purpose is to advance the wishes of the populace which voted them in, gives money (in the form of tax 'loopholes') to companies which choose to lay off local (U.S.) workers and use labor in other countries where the labor costs are lower, workers have fewer rights and pollution/privacy laws are more lax. Those aren't always the case but it comes down to the government encouraging fewer jobs in it's own country. Intentional unemployment? I don't know and IANAE but something seems amiss. Does looking out for the good of your citizenry entail ensuring employment? I would think so.
It was very clever of the attackers since they knew the widespread emotional trauma it would cause as people watched it live. Excellent manipulation.
It could also be said that it was very clever of the attackers since they knew the widespread disregard for the constitution and civil rights the current administration would adopt.
When did Germany bitch about our military bases "their"? Just curious, because I don't recall that but I may have missed it due to the so-called Liberal Media.

You forgot to leave your gnumber!
I beg to differ. Ever heard of wake-n-bake? *cough cough*
I was joking as well. Thought it would've been obvious. Sorry bout that.
Although I know that I will regret naming it this in 1997, 2001, or 2004.
I hate to be the one to break this to you, but it is now 2005.

Yes, this is redundant but found a better pic.

You're thinking of Infocrom.
My original response was sorta a joke about the denial coming from an addict.
Video games *are* drugs
Bah! Such a blanket statemnt and it just shows you don't know much about video games.
Forget this, I'm logging back into EQ2. It's been a whole 5 minutes that I've been logged out. At least the NPCs love me there.

Don't you know? The cat trained YOU!
(Cue Soviet Russia jokes...)
So freedom is bad today? But Bush said that freedom is on the march.
there are tons and tons of professors now nestled into tenure who have a whole-cloth marxist outlook
You know the political orientation of tons and tons of professors? Where do you get this information?

Do you have any links to back this up? I'm geniunely curious and not just trying to call you out on something.
