Interesting....but, the shift in the way people view the concept of copyright that you speak of (and, yes, I sense it too) came about because of that romantic idea of defiance. You toss that away and people will just revert to ad hominem "MUST DO AS IMPORTANT PEOPLE TELL ME" thinking. The idea MUST hold that classically romantic feeling of "This is Right. This is Important"...otherwise, it's not interesting and, therefore, not worth fighting for.
The Leader is gratified that your prove his point that oppressed masses throughout the world laud the technological strides that makes the DPRK the leader in advancement and computer science (III) throughout the world.
He offers you a place at his side in the coming revolution.

...bother downloading an entire porn movie? The innumerable porn versions of youtube that are out there provide plenty of free material for, er, whatever you need it for. Whether 5 minutes or an hour, it's out there and with all the variety you've come to expect. Er, so I hear.
At least in the soviet era, the brutal attack was expected...and even anticipated. After the fall of the "state," everyone expected change. Something like this is kinda like your grandmother hitting you with a baseball bat for eating a chocolate that she gave you.
Let's see...Fatal US traffic crashes for 2008: 34,017. Population of US in 2008: 301,621,157. So, let's see...My chance of dying in a fatal crash (in 2008) was.0001 Percent. You know? I'm kind of fine with those odds.
The big problem with this idea is that, much like other "society changing" ideas, no one will use it. The inherent fear/insecurity that humanity has towards things outside of their control ensures that this, and any other technology of this sort, will go unused and disregarded.
I'm not being cynical, I'm being honest. I think this is a great idea, and I think it needs to be researched and experimented with further. I will, however, never use such technology since it impinges on my inherent need to have control over my surroundings.
Self-driving cars...meh.
None of the information presented in this is relevent. The company/organization involved did exactly what they should have: used the law from the country of the company in question to force an action.
What the f(*& should they have done? File suit in Nigeria? Demand restitution from the Knights Templar? Ask for summary judgment from good King Wenislas?
...could take it over: www.scamwarners.com, www.scamorama.com, www.419eater.com, or www.aa419.org. They've already proven their worth on the anti-scam front and have people that can keep it current.
...but why have I never heard of Mycroft before? That looks interesting.
...Well, bye.
...and it's this.
The solution is for people to recognize that they are doing harm with piracy.

Usually courageous people like that get removed from office pretty quick.
Unfortunately true. It's like Tommy Lee Jones says in Men in Black, "A person is smart. People are dumb..."
If only there were more persons and less people...
and we didn't need gimmicks like motion controllers, photo-realistic graphics and high framerates to enjoy them.
...consarn it!

Just send up a guy with a jet pack and a baseball bat...let reentry take care of the rest.

Since 1980 over a half million asteroids have been discovered, mostly between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter
Between Mars and Jupiter, huh? You mean right where the asteroid belt is? And there are asteroids in it? Wow.
Shouldn't they be kicking down various things while screaming about freedom right now? Seriously. Has no one told them?
