    There is a meta-moderation system where you look at the moderation and post and judge if it was reasonable or not. I've not done that in quite a while so who knows how often/if it is used anymore.

    Google, Amazon, Apple are all missing the point.

    Technologies like this are fantastic, but only if you can wall them off from the outside world, at least as far as sending information goes.

    Put it all on a chip, provide incoming links only, and robust protection against injection type attacks. So, no sending info out, and no using outside info to affect inside systems.

    Tough nut to crack, I know. But that's the ticket!

    I would submit that ALL "Fact" checking sites have agendas and are more often than not complicit in distributing Fake News through their imprimatur of having been "fact checked" something.

    Simply witness the mental gymnastics they invariable go through to go from, "While technically true"...to "in light of this, we rule it Not True".

    It is unquestionable that playing games like this does desensitizes people to violence, at least within the context of the game. Hell, the Army uses video games extensively, in part, to break down the natural tendency not to shoot another human. But mostly they are to teach tactics and hone reaction skills.

    The extent to which that spills over into actual mass shootings and other gun crime will be the topic of studies for decades to come.

    My kid's school even had a whole initiative, if you will, to educate the middle schoolers why it's a bad idea to take pics of themselves naked. Usual reasons..."friends" redistributing, lost or stolen phones, hacked accounts. This was around the time of the Great Fappening.
