"patent lawsuits that find for the defendant automatically fine the plaintiff three times the damages they were seeking." Sounds really like the kind of text you'd see on a Magic: The Gathering card.
Lots of people over there are named Mohammed so putting that on a ban list would be like putting John or Jack on a list in the West, they're not THAT dumb.
In the article it says the original iPhone and iPhone 3G are still receiving software updates, this is just false: The iPhone has been stuck at OS 3.1.3 since that came out years ago, and the iPhone 3G is stuck at 4.2.1, and they will never see another update.
This article makes Apple out to be far better than they are.
As an Irish-born Irish Irishman, working in England, I guess I don't get the same kind of racism but I still get hit with racist slurs and jives quite regularly! But I actually kind of like it because I don't WANT to be English and it's nice to be slightly different. The first time I ever spoke to an Indian person was after I moved to England (There just aren't many foreigners in rural Ireland) but we employ quite a few Indian university graduates and they are fantastic people! I wouldn't get too caught up on racial stereotypes, the Irish ones are fun to play up sometimes, and I'm sure it's the same for others.
What special 'needs' do women have in gaming? Most of the women I know love playing Halo, GTA, TF2, L4D, Mortal Kombat, all the games I love to play myself. As far as I'm concerned those are games made for men and women, what do women need that they don't provide?
Why don't Visa and Mastercard implement a keyfob generator system like Blizzard do for World of Warcraft? It seems silly that my World of Warcraft account might be more secure than my credit card.
Having been in regular contact with good friends in Tokyo, it seems the general mood in Tokyo is one of calm, and it's the rest of the world that are panicking.
Here in Ireland I'm on a pay-as-you-go plan with Meteor. Spending â20 a month gets me unlimited free calls and unlimited free texts to other Meteor numbers. As the majority of people I call and text are Meteor, I can spend that â20 on 3G browsing etc. I could also change this plan to unlimited free texts to any network if I wanted, sacrificing the free calls. For a non-business customer, it is excellent value.
As much as I admire an open source approach to portable gaming, I expect within a year this Dingoo A320 shall disappear and we shall never hear from it again.
Only SMS has had a massive impact on my life. Seven years ago, Meteor, my operator, introduced free Meteor-Meteor Calls and Texts. This instigated a period of huge amounts of texting between myself and friends.
Taking a small group of two dozen of my friends and acquaintances, I would estimate that hundreds of thousands of texts have been sent among us over this period. Relationships have been made and broken over SMS, and not one of us would disagree that SMS has been the most influential technology out of this list.
The point I was trying to make is that the onus to succeed should be on the student rather than the institution. If the student fails then it is his/her own doing.
... When people started taking exams.
If someone can pass an exam coupled with any assignments they would have been given as part of a module, then I would deem them qualified. Attendance is no measure of academic ability.
I will support any MS appreciation day that includes AoE II in its celebrations.

No more going off to fetch an anti-virus after a windows install. There's nothing anti-competitive about making your product better.

Anyone on the Nightly update channel has been on Firefox 10 alpha 1 for a few days.
They already addressed this on their twitter http://twitter.com/#!/LulzSec/status/84075440024719361 The press release wasn't written by them.

It wouldn't be beyond LulzSec's ability (or maybe just one member) to frame someone 'for the lulz'
I hope it has a water feature with a reasonable chance to turn a sword into excalibur upon dipping.

Since joining a company that I can order things to I haven't missed a single package :)

Why are their no links to sources? I see the article but without links it's just hearsay.
Sounds like they should have waited another two years to make that film...

All of this goes so over my head I can't even deploy enough air defense.
