    Sorry man, I believe you, but the real problem with GPS is that it reports where you've been as well as where you are!
    And facts don't matter, evidence doesn't matter, truth doesn't matter, all that matters is money.

    Turning it off does not turn off the GPS feature, you have to remove the battery for that.

    I remember an interview at this small company just shortly before I gave up looking for work (five years/thousands of resume's 15 interviews, NO job)! The 2001 class of romper room emptied into the conference room where the "interview" for a low level desktop support person was being held. The oldest kid asked me if I preferred "CLI's" and I replied no, I like my one button solutions to make life as easy as possible. I gathered that to be one of the "cool kids" you had to "like" "CLI's"!

    I did NOT get the job (surprise), I imagine that I was the oldest person to ever walk into that building.

    I only rarely use my cell phone & when it's in it's house (otterbox 1000 lined with a conductive coating) NO signals are sent or received.

    I would rail and rant about the savage, barbaric, murderous monsters, but upon reflection, the USofA kills dozens of people of questionable guilt primarily to make local prosecutors and police officials look good! So aside from the fact that (here) the condemned get a drug cocktail that presumably does not hurt (much), the Saudis use a sword to saw your head off (it's slow & bloody)! Anybody who would travel to this medieval shitpile is asking for it.

    Governments LOVE to intimidate, to frighten, to use fear to ensure compliance with whatever outrage they want to impose on their subject populations (citizens), secrecy is in and of itself intimidating, like the surprise raid with an over the top show of force, black tactical gear, flashbang grenades, swarming/shouting, jackbooted thugs, etc. All these many things form the extended matrix of governmental control by terror that we see more and more in the so-called "free" world!

    Your nom de plume is very apropos! The fact that we have the largest prison population has NOTHING to do with population diversity! It has everything to do with an out of control legal system and a judiciary that is corrupt, capricious, arbitrary, highly political and completely out of touch! As long as the vast majority of elected "lawmakers" are attorneys we will continue to accrue new legal structures and redundant laws without the elimination of anachronism while continually pandering to the "Law & order" and the "There ought to be a law" crowds! When you couple all the above with (for profit) commercially run prisons and (for profit) prison industries this spiral will continue!

    And I haven't touched on the creation of a permanent underclass of second class citizens (felons) who (in law) do not share the full measure of rights and constitutional protections afforded the rest of us.
