It's not so much as how it's prepared as how fresh the beans are. look into roasting your own if you are hardcore about great coffee. http://www.sweetmarias.com gives you a lot of info. Since it soudns like you will be getting the coffee soon, you should know this, *percolators ruin coffee*. never use them. drip is ok with good coffee. use a french press for the best of the best coffee (i prefer espresso, but that is out of the realm of this conversation). so yeah, you can read stuff on http://www.coffeekid.com for more on how to get really good coffee. enjoy!!
Is this really surprising anyone? Makes me recall my favorite quote "the universe is not only queerer than you suppose, it's queere than you can suppose" and i used to know who that was from, but now i forget. things like this i always assumed, since matter is mostly made of "nothing" anyways (if you believe that nothing can exist), mostly empty space. though that's just me.
I bet this is put out by the same people that believe we (the human species) never landed on the moon. That's not to say that this isn't bad, it is. This stuff is not far off, whether or not they were assassinated is not the question...
I wish they would say how many Megabytes this thing holds, not how many songs. I am assuming they are assuming that the average mp3 file is something like 4megs, who knows. My average song size is something like 60megs, since I listen to a ton of live electronic music. I guess it's a step up from library of congress or (gasp) that stupid story that measured things in terms of the human genome....
Call me crazy, but instead of growing meat, why don't they just consume the nutrient rich liquid instead? seems to make more sense, but that is coming from a vegan, so meat (and dairy, honey, animal products/byproducts in general) are icky to me.....
Now when I get hit on my bike again by a car, instead of the old "i was on my cell" they will "i was in the middle of recompiling my kernel..." to the officer
I can speak from experience on this one, sort of. I am a 2nd year student at Northern Michigan University, and every student here gets a thinkpad every 2 years. i have a 500mhz one, 64mb ram, 6gig hd, the new ones have a cd burner, 700mhz, 124mb ram and 10gig hd's.... it seesm like a good idea, but really, the only thing anyone ever uses these things for is chat and downloading music on the hella fast connection. well, i write papers on it as well, but that doesn't really warrant having it i guess. oh, and 365 comes out every semester of tuition and you don't get to keep it at the end. kind of a ripoff. that's my 2 cents anyway
Just some food for thought. Who trained Osama Bin Laden in the 80's to be a terrorist (against the USSR)? The United States. Who funded Osama Bin Laden's terrorist activities with 45 million US dollars? The United States. Who condoned and supported terrorism? The United States. I just dont understand why it is ok for the US to terrorize other countries but not ok for terrorists to attack the US.
That part about college students using insant messaging tools is very true. I live in the dorms at Northern Michigan University, and alot of the time spent getting to know somebody here is through chatting. I recently met a girl in my calc class and after a little talking, instead of asking for my phone #, she asked what my AIM screename was.... if i am looking for someone to go eat with, first thing I do is see who is on my buddy list.... i think that is the best part about having LAN and every student having laptops, but that's a different story entirely i suppose...
well, gee, servers are so simple, i mean, they shouldn't break down anyways. i mean, c'mon, client asks for info, server gives it, why do things gotta be so complicated man? and by the way, since when is there a shortage of tech workers? what happened to all the techies that are going to the pr0n industry, why don't htey go work for big blue?
what about cyber-jail? then i could busted with weed a few more times, go to cyber-court, and get sentenced to cyber-jail. possibly community service, like harvesting email addresses, gathering pr0n for senators and the govneror, hehehe
well, it's nice to see that at least one company has enough sense to outsmart the smartest. i'm all for open source, but stealing tv is wrong. why should you not have to pay for the company to launch satellites, install systems, and organize programming? I think this is brilliant and would like to see more of it from other companies, Rock on!

Good to see that Che is still riling shit up, even if it's not him personally....
i can't help but wonder how many nasty-grams apple is gonna send out over this one...
why do people *still* use browsers that lack the capability of refusing pop-up windows? the world may never know....
