DEAD PERSON:
I'm not dead!
CART MASTER:
What?
CUSTOMER:
Nothing. Here's your ninepence.
DEAD PERSON:
I'm not dead!
CART MASTER:
'Ere. He says he's not dead!
CUSTOMER:
Yes, he is.
DEAD PERSON:
I'm not!
CART MASTER:
He isn't?
CUSTOMER:
Well, he will be soon. He's very ill.
DEAD PERSON:
I'm getting better!
CUSTOMER:
No, you're not. You'll be stone dead in a moment.
CART MASTER:
Oh, I can't take him like that. It's against regulations.
DEAD PERSON:
I don't want to go on the cart!
CUSTOMER:
Oh, don't be such a baby.
CART MASTER:
I can't take him.
DEAD PERSON:
I feel fine!
CUSTOMER:
Well, do us a favour.
CART MASTER:
I can't.
CUSTOMER:
Well, can you hang around a couple of minutes? He won't be long.
CART MASTER:
No, I've got to go to the Robinsons'. They've lost nine today.
CUSTOMER:
Well, when's your next round?
CART MASTER:
Thursday.
DEAD PERSON:
I think I'll go for a walk.
CUSTOMER:
You're not fooling anyone, you know. Look. Isn't there something you can do?
DEAD PERSON: [singing]
I feel happy. I feel happy.
[whop]
CUSTOMER:
Ah, thanks very much.
CART MASTER:
Not at all. See you on Thursday.
CUSTOMER:
Right. All right.
(a) The company is estimating $100 million per mile (light rail would be ~ $14 million / mile)
Your numbers are way off. Both monorail and light rail have initial 14 mile lines. Monorail has estimated $1.5B and light rail $2.5B, thus monorail is approximately $100M/mile and light rail $175M/mile.
When you pluralize an abbreviation, such as PLC, you use an apostrophe.
I think it's actually correct to use an apostrophe for acronyms with periods, e.g. Ph.D.'s, and not use an apostrophe for acronyms without periods, e.g. TVs.
Then you should check out LVM. From the LVM HOWTO:
A wonderful facility provided by LVM is 'snapshots'. This allows the administrator to create a new block device which is an exact copy of a logical volume, frozen at some point in time. Typically this would be used when some batch processing, a backup for instance, needs to be performed on the logical volume, but you don't want to halt a live system that is changing the data. When the snapshot device has been finished with the system administrator can just remove the device. This facility does require that the snapshot be made at a time when the data on the logical volume is in a consistent state, later sections of this document give some examples of this.
My guess is that one could argue that this is a demand (or cease-and-decist) letter and not a court document, and thus IP of the lawyer, her firm, or the client.
Gee, if only AT&T would shut their OWN OPEN RELAYS!!
Here's a header of one such email that gets through their open relay:

Where's AT&T's open relay? That looks like it came from hinet.net, which seems to be in Taiwan. Where's the AT&T connection?
t occurs to me that mostly CableModem companies have this bizzarre fetish about "abusing" your service by using NAT, running "VPNs", etc., while most DSL providers do not.
Seems like to me that it is because there is actually competition for DSL ISPs and not for cable. A local ISP can set up shop with friendly TOS for DSL but not for cable.
Oh, yeah. Static IPs; no PPPoE; no quotas; Linux shell account with 10MB for web hosting, etc.; POP/webmail; no blocked ports; good TOS;...; $20/month.
Let me put another shout out for Drizzle. Small, professional, courteous, etc. I'm been a customer for 2 years and I have had nothing but great experiences with them.

I think you missed the point. He was suggesting using MOL to boot Mac OS 9 from Mac OS X, not OS X from Linux.
Snakeoil is the CA for the test certificate that comes with mod_ssl. The joke is from the Apache folks.
Thanks -- I was beginning to wonder if what I thought was an obvious joke was a bit too difficult.
And sorry about your offtopic mod.
And replaced with llamas.

How long before the CoS claims those documents are copyrighted and sues to have them taken down? My guess is Monday morning, LA time.
Check out the times! I beat you by 7 minutes (according to slashcode, at least).
Here's a whole website about Small Wonder!
A groundless estimate that is an order of magnitude skewed in their favor, of course.
So your mailserver is not owned by AT&T, in which case there should be another line above that one? That's what confused me.

Not true! You can download it directly from here and install on different machines.
Done.

You can check out this for the math behind Free Energy.
Good idea except when I took a CS class at GTech they wanted everyone to run their code through 'ident' with some specified formating.

But does it work in Mono?
