    Havent had to use the shoddy interface in a long time.

    How much of a fancy interface does one need to send and receive an e-mail? Honestly, there are some of us who don't need anything more than "login and there it is", so it doesn't really matter in the end what/where we use. I have had a hotmail account since late 96/early 97 (friends who have to register there or elsewhere as "joesmith8948908908903290" or whatnot express awe at my 4-character user name), and for what I want it to do, it works fine.

    The spoiler template was deleted, despite the discussion seeming to indicate that most people wanted to keep it. Anyone who has used wikipedia for a while know its not a democracy.

    Articles, templates, whatever are kept or deleted based more on the strength of the argument rather than witless bean-counting. So no, it isn't a democracy, and that is a good thing.

    All this will do is rake in registration $$$ and have zero effect on anything else. Take any site for example, like youporn.com. They will go register youporn.xxx so they have their name protected, and one will redirect to the other. If some other company tried to register youporn.xxx out from under them, the real site would just sue and claim it.

    They won't give up their .com addresses, so nothing will change.
